Knitting tension: 12 stitches x 16 rows with needle size 7 mm and stocking stitch = 10 x 10 cm. Remember needle size is only a guide!

Pattern: See diagram - M.1. One diagram = 1 repeat, the whole pattern is worked in stocking stitch.

Ridge/Garter stitch (back and forth on needle): 1 ridge = Knit 2 rows.
Ridge/Garter stitch (in the round): 1 ridge = 2 rounds. Knit 1 round and purl 1 round.

Knitting tip! Decrease as follows from the right side:
After 5 edge stitches: Slip 1 stitch, K 1, pass slipped stitch over.
Before 5 edge stitches: K2 together.
-----------------------------------------------------------

Front piece: Cast on 57-63-69 stitches (incl. 1 edge stitch in each side) with needle size 7 mm and off white. Work 2 ridges, continue with stocking stitch upwards. Remember the knitting tension! When piece measures 16-17-18 cm work next row as follows: 15-18-21 stitches off white, M.1, 15-18-21 stitches off white. Continue this pattern upwards. After M.1 finish working with off white. At the same time, when piece measures 29-31-34 cm cast off 3-3-4 stitches in each side for armholes. Continue to decrease for armholes every 2nd row inside the 5 edge stitches - see Knitting tip: 1 stitch x 4-6-7 = 43-45-47 stitches. When piece measures 44-47-50 cm place the middle 13-13-13 stitches on a thread for neck. Continue to decrease for neck every 2nd row inside the 5 edge stitches - see Knitting tip: 1 stitch x 4-4-4 = 11-12-13 stitches left on shoulder. Cast off when piece measures 50-53-56 cm.

Back piece: Cast on and work as for front piece, but without pattern. When piece measures 48-51-54 cm, cast off the middle 19-19-19 stitches for neck. Continue to decrease 1 stitch on next row towards neck = 11-12-13 stitches left on each shoulder. Cast off when piece measures 50-53-56 cm.

Sleeve: Cast on 31-33-35 stitches (incl. 1 edge stitch in each side) with needle size 7 mm and off white. Work 1 ridge, continue with stocking stitch upwards. At the same time, when piece measures 8-8-8 cm increase on each side of sleeve: 1 stitch x 8-8-7 every 5-5-5.5 cm = 47-49-49 stitches. When piece measures 48-47-46 cm decrease for sleeve cap in each side every 2nd row: 3 stitches x 1-1-1, 2 stitches x 1-1-1, 1 stitch x 4-5-6, 2 stitches x 1-1-1, 3 stitches x 1-1-1, cast off. Piece measures approx. 58-58-59 cm.

Assembly: Sew shoulder seams. Sew in sleeves. Sew sleeve and side seams in one go, inside the 1 edge stitch.

Neck: Knit up approx. 48 to 52 stitches around neck, with off white and double pointed needles size 7 mm (incl. stitches from thread in front). Work garter stitch for approx. 12 cm, cast off.

Crochet edges: Work double crochets with dark grey and hook size 7 mm, around bottom of body and sleeves + top of neck.

Cord + pom poms: Cut a strand of off white of approx. 3 m and make a twisted cord. Thread the cord between the 2 ridges at bottom of body - begin on one side. Make 2 small pom poms with off white and fasten to each end of the cord.
