Pattern instructions

NOTE: This pattern is written in American English. All measurements in charts are in cm. For conversion from inches to cm - click here. SHORT ROWS (applies to neck warmer):
Work short rows every 4-3 cm / 1½"-1" as follows:
Row 1 (= RS): K 10-11, tighten thread and turn piece.
Row 2 (= WS): K 10-11.
Row 3: K all sts
Row 4: K all sts

NECK WARMER:
Worked back and forth from side to side. Loosely cast on 20-21 sts on needles size 12 mm / US 17 with Polaris. K all rows until piece measures 4 cm / 1½'' (1st row = RS). Then work SHORT ROWS - read explanation above - every 4-3 cm / 1½"-1" (measured at beg of rows from RS). Loosely bind off all sts when piece measures 48-52 cm / 19"-20½" vertically measured at the end of a RS row (along neck edge). Sew cast on edge and bind off edge tog in front loop of outermost sts.

Worked back and forth on needle. Loosely cast on 8-9 sts on needles size 12 mm / US 17 with Polaris. K all rows. Loosely bind off all sts when piece measures 46-48 cm / 18"-19". Sew cast on edge and bind off edge tog in outermost sts.

Quisiera que me aclarase lo de las vueltas cortas.No se sí lo he entendido bien.Cuando lleve 4 cm,tejo 10 puntos del derecho,paso el punto 11 sin tejer,paso hebra,pasamos el punto a la otra aguja,tenso y viro la pieza y el resto de puntos (10)los hacemos del derecho.Aquí es donde tengo la duda,¿la siguiente vuelta volvemos hacer lo mismo? O ya hago todas las vueltas al derecho hasta que vuelva a tejer los 4 cm?

Hola Pilar. Las vueltas cortas de este patrón se trabajan como sigue: Por el LD trabajar 10 ( o 11 pts depende de la talla), dar la vta a la labor, tensar el hilo y trabajar 10 (11) pts de vta por el LR. La sig fila por el LD trabajamos todos los pts de la fila. La vta por el LR también trabajamos todos los pts de la fila. Repetir las vueltas cortas según el patrón.

Ik zoek een alternatief voor het garen polaris, omdat ik niet tegen wol kan. Ook een ander garen (of garens) met dubbele of meervoudige draad is voor mij een optie. Ik vind de patronen in polaris zo mooi omdat ze zo lekker ruig ogen! Dank voor de hulp.

Helaas is er geen alternatief voor Polaris. Als u geen garens met dubbele draad wilt breien, heeft Garnstudio geen garen zonder wol van deze dikte. U schrijft niet waarom een dubbele draad geen optie is, maar anders zou u 3 of 4 draden Paris kunnen proberen.

Bonjour, je tricote ce tour de cou en ce moment, mais n'y a t'il pas une erreur lorsque vous dites de rabattre les mailles à 24-26 cm de hauteur, cela me paraît beaucoup trop peu?
