Knitting tension: 18 stitches x 24 rows with Bomull-Lin and needle size 5.5 mm and stocking stitch = 10 x 10 cm. Remember needle size is only a guide!

Rib: * P2, K1 *, repeat from *-*.
Ridge/Garter stitch (back and forth on needle): 1 ridge = Knit 2 rows.
Pattern: See diagram M.1. Pattern is crocheted over the stocking stitches to finish.

Decrease tip (for armholes): Decrease on inside of 4 stitches worked as follows from edge (seen from right side): 1 stitch garter stitch, K1, P1 and K1. All decreases are worked from the right side!
Decrease as follows after the 4 stitches: P2 together.
Decrease as follows before the 4 stitches: P2 twisted together.

Front piece: Loosely cast on 74-80-89-95-101 stitches (incl. 1 edge stitch in each side) with needle size 4.5 mm and Bomull-Lin. Work rib, but 1 edge stitch in each side is not worked in rib. When piece measures 3 cm, change to needle size 5.5 mm. Continue with stocking stitch with the wrong side out and M.1 over the middle 36 stitches - at the same time on the first row, increase 1 stitch in sizes L, XL and XXL = 74-80-90-96-102 stitches. Remember the knitting tension! When piece measures 10 cm increase 1 stitch in each side every 6 cm a total of 4 times = 82-88-98-104-110 stitches. When piece measures 33-34-35-36-37 cm work 1 ridge over the outermost 7-8-9-10-11 stitches in each side. On the next row, cast off 3-4-5-6-7 stitches in each side for armholes. Then decrease for armholes every 2nd row - See Decrease tip: 1 stitch 5-6-9-10-11 times = 66-68-70-72-74 stitches. After all the decreases, continue to work the 4 outermost stitches as described in decrease tip - the other stitches in stocking stitch. When piece measures 44-45-47-48-50 cm cast off the middle 12-12-14-16-16 stitches for neck. Then decrease on each side of neck every 2nd row: 3 stitches 1 time, 2 stitches 1 time and 1 stitch 5 times = 17-18-18-18-19 stitches left on each shoulder. Cast off when piece measures 52-54-56-58-60 cm.

Back piece: Cast on and work as for front piece but without M.1. Decrease for armholes as for front piece and continue working until piece measures 50-52-54-56-58 cm. Now cast off the middle 30-30-32-34-34 stitches for neck. Then decrease 1 stitch on next row towards neck = 17-18-18-18-19 stitches left on each shoulder. Cast off when piece measures 52-54-56-58-60 cm.

Pattern: Crochet with hook size 7 mm and 2 strands Cotton Viscose + 1 strand Bomull-Lin. You can either crochet chain stitches directly onto the front piece – you then skip 2 rows in height every chain stitch, or you can work a chain stitch cord which is sewn on afterwards. Start by working the long stem which goes up the middle; in the last chain stitch at the top, work as follows (even though the stem has been worked straight onto the front, the flower is worked unattached and is sewn on afterwards): * 3 chain stitches, 2 double treble crochets in the last chain stitch on the stem, 3 chain stitches, fasten with 1 slip stitch in the last chain stitch on the stem *, repeat from *-* a total of 3 times = 3 petals, cut the strand. Sew the flower to the stocking stitch section. Then work 2 small stems; in the last chain stitch at end of these, work as follows: 3 chain stitches, 2 double treble crochets in last chain stitch on stem, cut strand and sew flower-bud to jumper.

Assembly: Sew shoulder seams. Knit up approx. 87 to 99 stitches (divisible by 3) around neck with short circular needle size 4.5 mm and Bomull-Lin. Work rib for approx. 9 cm, cast off. Sew side seams inside the 1 edge stitch. Crochet with 2 strands Cotton Viscose + 1 strand Bomull-Lin with hook size 7 mm: 1 chain stitch cord of approx. 50 cm (measurement around neckline). Sew the cord loosely to the picked-up edge on neck.
