Hallo wertes Drops Team.
Runde + 4 Maschen 5 Mal in jeder Runde abnehmen = 44 M - (4x4) - (4x5)= 8 Maschen übrig. Viel Spaß beim stricken!

Hello! I was wondering if the sizes are right? I wanted to knit this pattern for a 3/6 months old baby and I realised it goes from a 1/2 months to a 6/9 months… are sizes missing? If not, what would you recommend for a 3/6 months? Thank you!
21.08.2022 - 09:37DROPS Design answered:
Dear Marta, there are no sizes missing. You can take into account the length of the foot. For size 6/9 months, the length is 12 cm. Since it's always better to work the bigger size just in case, you should work the 6/9 months size. Happy knitting!

Continue decrease like this with 1 stitch less before each decrease until there are 8-10-10 (10-12) stitches on needle. DECREASE TIP-1: Decrease as follows before rib stitches: Knit 2 together. Decrease as follows after rib stitches: Slip 1 stitch knitwise, knit 1, pass slipped stitch over. DECREASE TIP-2: Decrease as follows before marker: Knit 2 together. Decrease as follows after marker: Slip 1 stitch knitwise, knit 1, pass slipped stitch over. ---------------------------------------------------------- START THE PIECE HERE: ---------------------------------------------------------- SOCK - SHORT SUMMARY OF PIECE: Worked in the round on double pointed needles from leg down to toe. LEG: Cast on 32-36-40 (44-48) stitches on double pointed needles size 3 mm with DROPS Merino Extra Fine or DROPS Fiesta. Work rib = knit 2/purl 2 for 7-8-9 (10-11) cm. REMEMBER THE KNITTING TENSION! Now work heel and foot as explained below. HEEL AND FOOT: Work stocking stitch over the first 9-9-9 (9-13) stitches and keep stitches on needle for heel, slip the next 16-16-20 (24-24) stitches on a thread (mid on top of foot), and keep the last 7-11-11 (11-11) stitches on needle for heel = 16-20-20 (20-24) heel stitches on needle. Work in stocking stitch back and forth over heel stitches for 3½-4-4½ (5-5) cm. Insert 1 marker in the middle of last row - measure piece from this marker later. Work HEEL DECREASE - read explanation above! After heel decrease work next round as follows: Work in stocking stitch over the 8-10-10 (10-12) heel stitches, pick up 8-9-10 (12-12) stitches along the side of heel, work rib over the 16-16-20 (24-24) stitches from thread on top of foot, and pick up 8-9-10 (12-12) stitches along the other side of heel = 40-44-50 (58-60) stitches. Work until mid under heel – round now begins here. Continue with rib over 16-16-20 (24-24) stitches on upper foot and in stocking stitch over the remaining stitches. Insert 1 marker on each side of the middle 14-14-18-22-22) rib stitches. On first round decrease 1 stitch before first marker and 1 stitch after last marker – read DECREASE TIP-1. Decrease like this every other round 3-4-5 (8-8) times in total = 34-36-40 (42-44) stitches. Work until piece measures 8-9-10 (11-13) cm from marker on heel – measured under foot. 3-3-3 (4-4) cm remain until finished measurements. TOE: Insert 1 marker in each side of sock so that there are 17-18-20 (21-22 ) stitches both on top of foot and under foot. Work in stocking stitch. AT THE SAME TIME on first round decrease for toes on each side of both markers – read DECREASE TIP-2. Decrease like this on every other round 3-3-2 (4-4) times in total and then on every round 4-4-6 (5-5) times in total = 6-8-8 (6-8) stitches. Cut the yarn and pull yarn through stitches, tighten together and fasten. The sock measures approx. 11-12-13 (15-17) cm from marker on heel – measured under foot. Work the other sock the same way. |
