Bon tricot!

I am ready to pick up stitches on each side of heel. The yarn is at the edge of the heel with 10 stitches on the needle. Which side of the heel do I pick up first? Do I need to break the yarn and then pick up from the right had side, knit the heel stitches from the needle, pick up stitches on the left side of the heel and then take the stitches off the stitch holder? Thanks for the explanation.
01.03.2013 - 03:47DROPS Design answered:
Dear Anne, when the heel dec are finished, just pick up sts along the left side of the sock, work back the sts from mid upper foot and pick up sts on the right side of the heel and join to continue in the round - see video linked at the right side of the picture. Happy knitting!

Bon tricot !
