Hoi.

Bon tricot!

------------------------------------------------------- EXPLANATIONS FOR THE PATTERN: ------------------------------------------------------- PATTERN: See diagrams A.1 to A.3. RAGLAN: Increase for raglan on each side of 2 knitted stitches (the marker-thread sits between these 2 stitches) in each transition between body and sleeves (8 stitches increased). Increase by making 1 yarn over, which is knitted twisted on the next round to avoid a hole. Then work the new stitches in stocking stitch on the body, into the pattern on the sleeves. ------------------------------------------------------- START THE PIECE HERE: ------------------------------------------------------- JUMPER – SHORT OVERVIEW OF THE PIECE: The yoke is worked in the round with circular needle, from mid back and top down. The yoke is divided for the body and sleeves and the body continued in the round with circular needle. The sleeves are worked in the round with short circular needle. YOKE: Cast on 100-104-108-112-116-120 stitches with circular needle size 4 mm and DROPS Air. Knit 1 round. Work rib (knit 2, purl 2) in the round for 3 cm; on the last round decrease 2 stitches evenly spaced = 98-102-106-110-114-118 stitches. Change to circular needle size 5 mm. Insert 1 marker at the beginning of the round which is used when measuring the yoke. Insert 4 marker-threads as described below, without working the stitches and inserting them between 2 stitches. These threads are used when increasing for raglan. Count 15-16-17-18-19-20 stitches (half back piece) insert 1 marker-thread, count 19 stitches (sleeve), insert 1 marker-thread, count 30-32-34-36-38-40 stitches (front piece), insert 1 marker-thread, count 19 stitches (sleeve), insert 1 marker-thread, there are 15-16-17-18-19-20 stitches left after the last marker-thread (half back piece). Continue with stocking stitch over the front and back pieces and knit 1, A.1, A.2, A.3, knit 1 over each sleeve; at the same time on the first round start to increase for RAGLAN in each transition between body and sleeves – read explanation above. Each time A.1 and A.3 are finished in height, you work 2 more repeats of A.2 in width. Continue to increase for raglan every 2nd round a total of 22-23-25-28-31-33 times = 274-286-306-334-362-382 stitches. REMEMBER THE KNITTING TENSION! After last increase for raglan, contrinue working until the yoke measures 23-24-25-28-31-33 cm from the marker. Work the next round as follows: Work the first 38-40-43-47-51-54 stitches (half back piece), place the next 61-63-67-73-79-83 stitches on a thread for the sleeve, cast on 10-12-12-14-16-20 stitches (in side under sleeve), work 76-80-86-94-102-108 stitches (front piece), place the next 61-63-67-73-79-83 stitches on a thread for the sleeve, cast on 10-12-12-14-16-20 stitches (in side under sleeve), work the last 38-40-43-47-51-54 stitches (half back piece). The piece is now measured from here! BODY: = 172-184-196-216-236-256 stitches. Continue with stocking stitch for a further 16-17-18-17-16-16 cm. Knit 1 round and increase 40-40-48-52-52-56 stitches evenly spaced = 212-224-244-268-288-312 stitches. Change to circular needle size 4 mm. Work rib (knit 2, purl 2) for 8 cm. Cast off a little loosely. The jumper measures approx. 52-54-56-58-60-62 cm from the shoulder down. SLEEVES: Place the 61-63-67-73-79-83 stitches from the thread on the one side of the piece on short circular needle size 5 mm and knit up 1 stitch in each of the new stitches cast on under the sleeve = 71-75-79-87-95-103 stitches. Continue A.2 as before; the stitches which do not fit into the pattern are worked in stocking stitch. Work until the sleeve measures 31-31-30-27-25-23 cm from the division. Cast off with knit. |
