Hi, is the pentagon worked without turning at the end of the round? The sides seem to be worked by turning the piece at the end of each row. Will the two parts look mismatched? Thanks
31.03.2019 - 17:31DROPS Design answered:
Dear Justine, pentagon is worked in the round, then the sides will be worked back and forth. Happy crocheting!

Ha jól látom, hogy akkor nem jó leírás szerepel ennél a modellnél. A rajz is horgolást mutat, hogy illetve képről is úgy látom. Megnéznék, hogy valóban így van, vagy én értelmeztem félre valamit? Nagyra értékelem a munkájukat. Köszönöm!

Kedves Averail, valóban a minták feltöltés közben megcserélődhettek, igyekszünk rövid időn belül rendbe tenni, és a helyes számokkal újra feltölteni a leírásokat, addig kis türelmét kérjük. Köszönjük.

Buongiorno.

Buon lavoro!

---------------------------------------------------------- EXPLANATION FOR THE PATTERN: ---------------------------------------------------------- PATTERN: See diagram A.1 and A.2 for pentagon, see diagram A.3, A.4, A.5 and A.6 for sides. The chart shows the form of shawl and numbers on corners. ---------------------------------------------------------- START THE PIECE HERE: ---------------------------------------------------------- SHAWL - SHORT OVERVIEW OF THE PIECE: Work piece from the middle and outwards into a pentagon. Then work along 2 of the sides. Finally work an edge around the entire shawl. PENTAGON: Use hook size 3.5 mm and Delight. See diagram A.1. When diagram has been worked, there are 5 treble crochet groups with 2 chain stitches between every treble crochet group. Then work diagram A.2, diagram is repeated 5 times in total on round. When diagram has been worked 1 time vertically continue pattern and increase the same way, i.e. increase 2 treble crochets and 2 chain stitches on every round. Piece get a pentagon shape with 5 straight sides with a treble crochet groups in each corner. Continue to work and increase like this until each side measures approx. 42 cm (measured along 1 of the sides between 2 corners). Fasten off. Now work back and forth between corner 1 and 2 and corner 5 and 4, see chart that shows which corners to work in. SIDE 1: Between corner 1 to 2 work as follows from right side of piece: NOTE: Note that row marked with star in diagram has already been worked, it only show how next row is worked. ROW 1: Work A.3, repeat A.4 until 5 chain spaces remain (incl. chain space in treble crochet group in the corner) and finish by working A.5. ROW 2: Work A.5, repeat A.4 until 1 chain space remains and finish by working A.3. ROW 3: Work A.3, repeat A.4 until 4 chain spaces remain (incl. chain stitches at the end of row) and finish by working A.5. ROW 4: Work A.5, repeat A.4 until 1 chain space remains and finish with A.3. Then repeat ROW 3 and ROW 4, decrease 2 treble crochets + 1 chain space in left side of piece (seen from right side) every time the rows are repeated. Continue to work and decrease like this until only 4 chain spaces remain (incl. chain stitches at the end of row). The row is now the same as row marked with a star in A.6. Work diagram A.6 one time vertically. Fasten off. SIDE 2: Between corner 5 to 4 work as follows from wrong side of piece: ROW 1: Work A.3, repeat A.4 until 5 chain spaces remain (incl. chain space in treble crochet group in the corner) and finish by working A.5. Then repeat ROW 3 and ROW 4, decrease 2 treble crochets + 1 chain space in right side of piece (seen from right side) every time the rows are repeated. Continue to work and decrease like this until only 4 chain spaces remain (incl. chain stitches at the end of row). The row is now the same as row marked with a star in A.6. Work diagram A.6 one more time vertically but do not cut the yarn after last row, turn piece so that edge can be worked from right side from here. EDGE: Work 1 round around the entire piece: * Work 2 chain stitches, skip next row/chain space and work 1 double crochet around row/chain space *, work from *-* along all sides of shawl. Finish round with 1 slip stitch in first stitch on round. |
