CROCHET INFO: Replace first tr at beg of every tr round with 3 ch. Finish round with 1 sl st in 3rd ch at beg of round. Replace first dc at beg of every dc round with 1 ch. Finish round with 1 sl st in 1st ch at beg of round. Replace first dc at beg of every dc row with 1 ch. COLOUR PATTERN (worked in the round): When changing colour work as follows: Work last tr with first colour but wait with last pull through, switch to next colour and work last pull through, then work next tr. When working with two colour place strand for the colour not worked over sts from previous round, work around the strand so that it is hidden and follows in the round. Make sure not to tighten the yarns. Replace first tr with 3 ch, if last tr on previous round and first tr on next round are different colour work last tr as follows: Work last tr with first colour but wait with last pull through, switch to next colour and work last pull through, 1 sl st in 3rd ch at beg of round, then work 3 ch (= beg of round). PATTERN: See diagrams A.1 and A.2. Diagrams show colours on sock. 1 square in diagram = 1 tr. DECREASE TIP-1: Dec 2 tr by working the next 3 tr tog as follows: Work 1 tr but wait with last pull through (= 2 sts on hook), then work the next 2 tr but on last pull through, pull yarn through all 4 sts on hook. DECREASE TIP-2: Dec 1 dc by working the next 2 dc tog as follows: Work 1 dc but wait with last pull through (= 2 sts on hook), then work next dc but on last pull through, pull yarn through all 3 sts on hook. ---------------------------------------------------------- SOCK: Piece is worked in the round from toe and back to instep, then work back and forth to mid back on heel. Work the leg on sock in the round at the end. Crochet 4 ch on hook size 4 mm with light grey and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch. Continue as follows: ROUND 1: Work 6-6-5 dc in ch-ring – READ CROCHET INFO! ROUND 2: Work 2 dc in every dc = 12-12-10 dc. ROUND 3 (and then every other round): Work 1 dc in every dc. ROUND 4: * 1 dc in first dc, 2 dc in next dc *, repeat from *-* 6-6-5 times in total = 18-18-15 dc. REMEMBER THE CROCHET TENSION! ROUND 6: * 1 dc in each of the first 2 dc, 2 dc in next dc *, repeat from *-* 6-6-5 times in total = 24-24-20 dc. ROUND 8: * 1 dc in each of the first 3 dc, 2 dc in next dc *, repeat from *-* 6-6-5 times in total = 30-30-25 dc. ROUND 10: * 1 dc in each of the first 4 dc, 2 dc in next dc *, repeat from *-* 6-6-5 times in total = 36-36-30 dc. Inc are now done in size 35/37. SIZE 38/40 - 41/43: ROUND 12: * 1 dc in each of the first 5 dc, 2 dc in next dc *, repeat from *-* 6-5 times in total = 42-35 dc. Inc are now done in size 38/40. SIZE 41/43: ROUND 14: * 1 dc in each of the first 6 dc, 2 dc in next dc *, repeat from *-* 5 times in total = 40 dc. ROUND 16: * 1 dc in each of the first 7 dc, 2 dc in next dc *, repeat from *-* 5 times in total AT THE SAME TIME inc 3 dc evenly = 48 dc. Inc are now done in size 41/43. ALL SIZES: = 36-42-48 dc on round. Work A.1 6-7-8 times in total on round - READ COLOUR PATTERN. 1 square in A.1 = 1 tr. Work 9 rounds of A.1. On last round in A.1 (i.e. round with coral) dec as follows: Work A.1 over the first 24-30-34 tr, work the next 3 tr tog (= 2 tr dec) – READ DECREASE TIP-1, A.1 over the next 6-6-8 tr, work the last 3 tr tog (= 2 tr dec = 4 tr dec in total on round) = 32-38-44 tr. Piece measures approx. 15-16-18 cm. If needed work 1 tr in every tr with light grey until piece measures 15-16-18 cm. Continue piece with light grey. Work dc back and forth over the first 24-30-34 tr (i.e. do not work over the last 8-8-10 tr on round). When sock measures 20-22-25 cm (i.e. approx. 5-6-7 cm from where it is divided), insert 1 marker in the middle of piece (= 12-15-17 dc on each side of marker). On next row dec 1 dc on each side of marker, i.e. beg 2 sts before marker and work the next 4 dc tog 2 by 2 – READ DECREASE TIP-2 (= 2 dc dec). Work 1 row without dec. Repeat dec on next row (= 2 dc dec) = 20-26-30 dc. Work 1 row without dec, sock now measures approx. 22-24-27 cm from toe to heel. ASSEMBLY: Turn the sock inside out, place it double and work heel tog with light grey from WS with a row of sl sts through both layers. Fasten off. LEG: Now work in the round from seam mid back. Insert 1 marker in the piece. NOW MEASURE PIECE FROM HERE! Now work over dc-rows on heel and tr over foot with light grey as follows: Work 15-18-20 tr evenly over dc rows until 2 dc rows remain, work 3 tr tog as follows: Work 1 tr in next dc row but wait with last pull through, work 1 tr in last dc row the same way, work 1 tr in first tr over foot but on last pull through, pull yarn through all 4 sts on hook (= 2 tr dec), work 2 tr tog in each of the next 6-6-8 tr over foot, work 3 tr tog as follows: Work 1 tr in last tr over foot but wait with last pull through, work 1 tr in first dc row the same way, work 1 tr in next dc row but on last pull through, pull yarn through all 4 sts on hook (= 2 tr dec), work 14-17-20 tr evenly over the last dc rows = 34-40-46 tr. Work 1 round with 1 tr in every tr and inc 2 tr evenly = 36-42-48 tr. Then work A.2 6-7-8 times in total in width. On 5th round inc 3 tr evenly = 39-45-51 tr. Repeat inc on 8th round = 42-48-54 tr. Diagram A.2 is then repeated 7-8-9 times in width. On 13th round inc 3 tr evenly – (NOTE: Inc in sections with deep sea) = 45-51-57 tr. Repeat inc on 15th round = 48-54-60 tr. Diagram A.2 is then repeated 8-9-10 times in width. Fasten off when A.2 has been worked 1 time vertically. Work 1 more sock the same way. |
