I like this pattern. I want to make it in a solid Alaska type yarn. How many yards of yarn do I need to make this pattern in a size Medium all one color. Thanks Carol

Dear Mrs Heerema, this lesson will help you calculating how much you will need in Alaska - we only have the amount of yarn with stripes - count the shortest meterage of both yarns, you might use somewhat less. Find more info about these 2 discontinued yarns here and/or use the yarn converter. Happy knitting!

Hi Yes this cardigan is a bit over sized and the measures you see in the chart are the finished measures. Small is 39-3/8" around bust.

Love this pattern. Have started knitting it but am not sure of sizing. Please confirm the bust size for 'small' and 'medium' sizes as they appear to be very large. Does the 'finished measurements' for the small size 39-3/8" mean the finished bust size for 69-20? Hope you can help me as I do not know which size to do. Thank you - Carol
