I love your Alpaca Boucle and want to use it as a throw on my bed. I thought pattern 'Fisherman's Blues@ would work beautifully if I resized. I plan to use just one colour, ocean green, double strand as per pattern. Please can you give me some indication of the number of balls of yarn I shall require? I should like the finished product to be 200 x 260 cm. Many thanks.

Lovely pattern! I have a question about how to work in 2 threads. I would love to use this wool combination to make the Ocean's Delight pattern (wool suggested for that one: Big Delight). I was wondering however if this would work. Alpaca bouclé is a C group yarn. If you work it in 2 strands do you then use a C+C yarn basically? Or do you have to assemble half the strands of one colour with half the strands of the other? Sorry for the silly question: I'm new to crocheting!
03.09.2017 - 10:30DROPS Design answered:
Dear Valeria, this blanket is worked with 2 threads Alpacé Bouclé, if you want to make it with Big Delight (= also Yarn Group C) you will have to work also with 2 threads Big Delight or with 1 thread Big Delight+ 1 another thread any other yarn group C) - Read more here and remember your DROPS store will assist you even per mail or telephone. Happy crocheting!

Bon crochet!
