Håber I vil hjælpe mig. Martha

You cast on and the sts on every row at the same time as you work short rows like this: row 1: knit all sts, turn row 2: knit all sts, turn row 3: knit 48-50-52 sts, turn row 4: knit all 48-50-52 sts back, turn row 5: knit 38-40-42 sts, turn row 6: knit all 38-40-42 sts back, turn repeat these 6 rows.

I was confused by this pattern. I'm not 100% sure what to do with this part: Worked from side to side back and forth on needle. Cast on 56-58-60 sts on needle size 3 mm [US 2or3] with Fabel. Work garter st – see above, at the same time continue as follows: * 2 rows on all sts, 2 rows on the first 48-50-52 sts, 2 rows on the first 38-40-42 sts * Help please, and forgive me if it's obvious and I'm missing something.

Garter st back and forth on needle: K all rows. Garter st in the round: K 1 round, P 1 round. Increasing tip, applies to thumb: Inc 1 st on both sides of the middle 2 sts (MT sits between these 2) by making 1 YO - beg inc on first row. Work YO into back of loop on return row to avoid a hole. Hat: Worked from side to side back and forth on needle. Cast on 56-58-60 sts on needle size 3 mm with Fabel. Work garter st – see above, at the same time continue as follows: * 2 rows on all sts, 2 rows on the first 48-50-52 sts, 2 rows on the first 38-40-42 sts *, repeat from *-*. Cast off when piece measures 52-54-56 cm where longest (= lower edge). Assembly: Sew cast on and cast off rows tog. Sew a thread trough edge at top and tighten. Mitten: Worked back and forth on needle and sewn tog afterwards. Cast on 50-52 sts on needle size 3 mm with Fabel. Work garter st – see above, at the same time inc 1 st at the end of every row from RS a total of 8 times = 58-60 sts. Remember the knitting tension! When piece measures 5-6 cm dec 1 st at the end of every row from RS a total of 8 times = 50-52 sts. When piece measures 8-9 cm (dec at sides are now complete) work next row as follows from RS: work 26 sts, cut the thread, knit with another colour thread the next 11-13 sts (this is to be removed later and the thumb will be worked on these sts), work 13 sts with Fabel. Continue on all sts with Fabel, at the same time inc 1 st at the end of every row from RS a total of 8 times = 58-60 sts. When piece measures 13-15 cm dec 1 st at the end of every row from RS a total 8 times = 50-52 sts. Cast off, piece measures approx 16-18 cm. Thumb: Worked in the round. Pull out thread from mitten and slip sts from both sides back on double pointed needles size 3 mm = 22-26 sts. Insert 1 Marking Thread (MT) each side with 11-13 sts between them. Work garter st – see above, at the same time inc on both sides of MT towards the top of hand – see Increasing tip! At the same time dec 1 st on both sides of the other MT on every other round by K 2 tog (= 22-26 sts). After 24-28 rows in garter st K all sts tog 2 by 2 = 11-13 sts. Cut the thread, pull through remaining sts and fasten. Cuffs: Pick up approx 40-44 sts along the edge of the mitten and work garter st back and forth on all sts until cuff measures 4 cm. Cast off loosely. Fold mitten double and sew tog in outer loops of sts. |
