I am 90 percent done with this hat and it's not forming into a hat shape...it's more like one big disk. I was confused on the "crochet info" section which was supposed to be used on row 2, was I supposed to substitute a chain instead of a sc on every row? I don't see where it was supposed to decrease to form more of a cone shape? My measurements have all come out correctly according to the pattern? Joanie

Hoi.

Noen forslag?

Chrochet tension: 12 dc in width = 10 cm Crochet info: In beg of each round substitute first dc with 1 ch. Finish each round with 1 sl st in first ch in beg of round. Hat: Check your crochet tension! The hat i crocheted from top and down. 1st row: Crochet 2 ch using hook size 5 mm and Snow, crochet 7 dc in the 1:a ch from hook, finish with 1 sl st in the 1st dc = 7 dc. Read crochet info! 2nd row: Crochet 2 dc in every dc = 14 dc. 3rd row: Crochet * 1 dc in first dc, 2 dc in following dc *, repeat *-* = 21 dc. 4th row: Crochet * 1 dc in each of the first 2 dc, 2 dc in following dc *, repeat *-* = 28 dc. 5th row: Crochet * 1 dc in each of the first 3 dc, 2 dc in following dc *, repeat *-* = 35 dc. Continue to inc like this (i.e. 1 dc more between every inc) until you have 63-70 dc on round (= 9-10 rounds). Continue to crochet 1 dc in every dc until piece measures 12-13 cm – on last round inc 1-0 dc = 64-70 dc. Now continue like this: 2 dc in first dc, * skip 1 dc, 2 dc in following dc *, repeat *-*. Repeat this round until piece measures 17-18 cm. Then crochet 1 round like this: *1 dc in first dc, 2 dc in following dc *, repeat *-* = 96-105 dc. Crochet 1 dc in every dc until piece measures 25-26 cm. Cut and fasten the thread. |
