Hello. I like the collar of this sweater. As I usually first do then doubt, I don't know if I am asking now. My collar is with the desired effect. But it has too many knits near the shoulder junctions. It doesn't look bad but are those increases there (looking like fans) OK?
14.08.2020 - 20:53DROPS Design answered:
Dear Neli, make sure to work the new sts in rib - every 2nd row you will have K3 on the markers, but then on next increase row you will have the rib fitting again. Happy knitting!

Can this sweater be knit in traditionsl pieces ... I am afraid knitting it in the round will create a very heavy piece of knitting as you go on. Seaming seems easier. Opinions?

Dear Barrie, you will find relevant informations to adjust a pattern into straight needles. Happy knitting!

IN the 'Front Piece' directions of this pattern it says to cast off for armholes on every other row: 2mx1, 1mx0(1) What does the 'm' stand for, and are the alternatives given relating to sizing? With many thanks.
02.11.2015 - 20:59DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Beezer, it should have been "sts" instead of "m" - this applies also to back piece, so read: 2 sts x 1, 1 st x 0(1). This means in both sizes you will bind off 2 sts 1 time and in first size, there are no further dec, but in 2nd size you will then dec 1 st 1 time. Happy knitting!
