Hej!

Hej Joph. I storlek M stickar du till arbetet mäter 25 cm, sedan delar du upp arbetet i framstycke (38 m), ärmhål (avm 2 m), bakstycke (76 m), ärmhål (avm 2 m), framstycke (38 m). Mvh DROPS Design

So beautiful model. What about the buttonholes please?
20.01.2025 - 19:20DROPS Design answered:
Dear Jiji, you can read the instructins for the buttonholes at the bottom of the pattern, under "ASSEMBLY" (it says"knit 6 button holes after 1 cm evenly distributed on row - 1 buttonhole = cast off 2 sts and cast on 2 new sts over cast off sts on next row.". Happy Knitting!

Front piece instructions & back piece. My project is on circular needles. The directions state “When piece measures 35cm(133/4”)bind off for neck on every other row :4 st 2 times,2st 2 time, 1 st 2 times and then on every 4th row: 1st 2 times. Measuring from the top edge of the ribbing, I am at 10”. I assume I continue to kit until I have 13 3/4”before I start binding off for the neck. Is this correct?
10.08.2024 - 21:26DROPS Design answered:
Dear Beverly, you cast off for the armhole as indicated and continue in stocking stitch. After finishing casting off for the armhole simply continue knitting in stocking stitch until the piece measures 35cm(133/4”), when you start binding off for the neck. Happy knitting!

I'm making pattern 41-14 (Drops jacket in Vienna with rib edges. The pattern say to use circular needles for the body. I've just completed the instruction stating "when piece measures 23 (25-24) cm =9" (9 3/4"-91/2") knit next row as follows: 36 (38-41) st front piece, bind off 2sts for armhole, 72 (76-82) st back piece, bind off 2 sets for armhole, 36(38-41) sets front piece. Complete each piece separately. Do I continue working with the circular needles or use straight needles ?

Hi beverley, If you do not have too many stitches on a piece, then you can easily use straight needles. The reason we recommend the use of circular needles is to avoid stitches slipping off the ends. Happy crafting!
