Forse c'è un errore nella legenda: gli ultimi due simboli dovrebbero essere maglia doppia alta, e doppia maglia alta nell' arco di catenelle.

When I work A.4a, , A.5a over 75 stitches(3 repeats of 25 with increase , then A.6a over the last 17 stitches , I still have 14 stitches until the end if the row. Is there a error in the pattern for the XXL ? Or what I am I doing wrong? Thank you for your helo.

Dear Charlotte, the rowm in which you do the A.1a/A.2a and A.3a starts wth A.4a on the first 14 stitches, and only after that will you do the A.5 on the 75 stitches. happy Stitching!

Can you explain how much yarn to order for this since your suggesting 450g and the yarn is sold in meters? Thanks.
01.04.2020 - 13:34DROPS Design answered:
Dear Susan, yarn amount is always given in grams - read more here. In the 2nd size, you need 450 g DROPS Cotton Light / 50 g a ball = 9 balls in this size. Happy crocheting!

Has anyone written out these instructions without needing to use the diagram? I’m also a senior, been crocheting my entire life. Can’t read diagrams
26.10.2019 - 20:42DROPS Design answered:
Dear Linda, unfortunately there is no written out version of this pattern, but there is a tutorial on how to read crochet diagrams here . Also, don't forget, that you can always ask for help, for example in making sense of a pattern diagram, in person in the store where you bought your DROPS yarn from. Happy Crafting!

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
------------------------------------------------------- EXPLANATIONS FOR THE PATTERN: ------------------------------------------------------- CROCHET INFORMATION: First treble crochet on row is replaced by 3 chain stitches. PATTERN: See diagrams A.1 to A.6. INCREASE TIP: Work 2 treble crochets in same stitch (= 1 treble crochet increased). DECREASE TIP: * Make 1 yarn over, insert hook through next stitch, pick up strand, make 1 yarn over and pull the strand through the first 2 loops on hook *, work from *-* 1 more time, make 1 yarn over and pull strand through all 3 loops on hook (= 1 treble crochet decreased). ------------------------------------------------------- START THE PIECE HERE: ------------------------------------------------------- PONCHO – SHORT OVERVIEW OF THE PIECE: The piece is worked back and forth in 2 sections which are sewn together to finish. FIRST SECTION: Work 94-94-122 chain stitches with hook size 3.5 mm and Cotton Light. Read CROCHET INFORMATION - Work A.1a over the first 2 chain stitches, repeat A.2a over the next 91-91-119 chain stitches (= 13-13-17 repeats of 6 treble crochets over 7 chain stitches) and finish with A.3a over the last chain stitch = 81-81-105 treble crochets. Continue A.1b, A.2b and A.3b. REMEMBER THE CROCHET TENSION! When A.1b, A.2b and A.3b have been completed in height, continue as follows: Work A.4a over the first 14 stitches, A.5a over the next 50-50-75 stitches (= 2-2-3 repeats of 25 treble crochets) – and increase 0-0-1 treble crochet over these stitches – read INCREASE TIP and finish with A.6a over the last 17 stitches. Continue A.4b, A.5b and A.6b. When A.4b, A.5b and A.6b have been completed, repeat A.4b, A.5b and A.6b in height. When the piece measures approx. 78-86-94 cm finish after a complete repeat in height. Then work A.4c, A.5c – and decrease 0-0-1 treble crochet over these stitches – read DECREASE TIP and finish with A.6c = 81-81-105 treble crochets. Work A.1b over the first 2 treble crochets, repeat A.2b until there is 1 treble crochet left (= 13-13-17 repeats of 6 treble crochets) and finish with A.3b over the last treble crochet = 81-81-105 treble crochets. Continue until A.1b, A.2b and A.3b have been completed in height. Cut and fasten the strand. The piece measures approx. 83-91-99 cm. SECOND SECTION: Work in the same way as the first section. ASSEMBLY: Lay finishing edge on the first section towards the right long-side of the second section – bottom of cast-on edge and 40-40-53 cm upwards – make sure you do not stretch the sections. Sew then together with small, neat stitches. Then sew the finishing edge on the second section to the right side on the first section in the same way. |
