Wondering instead of the graph, that the pattern is written out? it is more helpful for myself. let me know, thanks so much.
16.11.2022 - 16:13DROPS Design answered:
Hi Kelly, We do not have a written pattern at this stage. The graph is read from bottom right to left and upwards from the right side and left to right from the wrong side. The first row (from the right side and with 2 garter stitches on each side) is K3, then repeat (K3 tog. 1 yarn over, K1, 1 yarn over, sspo, K5) for 50 stitches, K2 tog, 1 yarn over, K1, 1 yarn over, sspo, K3. Purl back from the wrong side. Using this explanation you will hopefully be able to follow the diagram upwards, the next row from the right side begins with K2 (after the 2 garter stitches). Happy knitting!

Thank you for your prompt response, as always. I studies the pattern a bit more, after having to unravel the work a few times, and came to the same realisation as you have explained. It would be helpful if it is mentioned in the text that A1b is repeated 5 times in every RS row of the pattern.

Hi In the first row in the pattern from RS, it says A1b is repeated 5 times, which was fine. The 5 x repeat doesn't seem to apply to the rest of A1 pattern. My stitches in other rows don't seem to add up at the end of the row from RS. Is the 5x repeat in A1b applying only to the first row in the pattern, please?
20.11.2019 - 17:25DROPS Design answered:
Dear Helena, work the diagram as follows: start with A.1A (= 3 stitches), then repeat A.1B a total of 5 times (= 10 stitches x 5 ) then finish with A.1C (= 8 sts). On row 3, you have to work the last st in A together with the first st in B (= this is the new 3rd st in A), yarn over is now the first st in B; work B to the last st, K2 tog = last st in B, YO = first stitch in next B/C and repeat B the same way/end with C. Make sure you always have the correct number of stitches in diagram, using markers can help. Happy knitting!

Buon lavoro!
