Bon crochet!

Hi Michelle, you can stiffen your crochet hat with cornstarch, To make the brim a bit stiffer, you can use a thin steel wire on the last round. Watch the video HERE. Best wishes!

Dear Deanne,*-* encloses the stitches that should be repeated the number of times given in the pattern. Also, please remember that you can always ask for help either in person or over the phone for help if you are still confused, in the store where you bought your DROPS yarn from. Happy Crafting!

I believe the last part of the pattern of round 26 L/XL should change to this: then work * 1 sc in next sc, 2 sc in next ch-space *, repeat from *-* 5 times in total, It needed 2 sc in each ch-space to have 99 sc.

I'm working on round 26, L/XL, but at the end of the round, I have 104 sc instead of 99. I calculated it to double check and found 104 correct. I counted it like this: (1+3+1+2+1+2+1+3)*6 + (1+3)*5= (14*6)+(4*5)= 84 +20= 104 Is any bug in the pattern or I did something wrong? could you please let me know?

Dear Maede, work this round as follows: 1 ch, 1 dc in first dc (UK-English) (= 1 dc), * 3 dc in next ch-space, 1 dc in next dc, 2 dc in next ch-space, 1 dc in next dc, 2 dc in next ch-space, 1 dc in next dc, 3 dc in next ch-space *, repeat from *-* 6 times in total (= (3 + 1 + 2 + 1 + 2 + 1 + 3) = 13 x 6 = 78 dc in total), then work * 1 dc in next dc, 3 dc in next ch-space *, repeat from *-* 5 times in total (= (1 +3) x 5 = 20 dc and finish with 1 sl st in first dc on round = 1 + 78 + 20 = 99 dc.
