Bon tricot !

Knitting tension: 10 sts x 14 rows on needles size 9 mm in stocking sts = 10 x 10 cm. Garter sts (back and forth on row): Knit all rows Rib: *K2, P2*, repeat from *-* Front piece: Cast on 35-38-41 (44-47-50) sts on needles size 9 mm in Snow. Knit 4 rows of garter sts, and continue in stocking sts with 3 sts of garter sts each side (slit). Remember the knitting tension! When the piece measures 7-7-7 (8-8-8) cm, finish the slit and cast on 1 st each side ( = edge st for assembly) = 37-40-43 (46-49-52) sts. Continue in stocking sts over all sts. When the piece measures 30-32-34 (36-38-40) cm bind off for armhole each side on every other row as follows: 2 sts 1-1-1(2-2-2) times and 1 st 1-2-3 (2-3-4) times = 31-32-33 (34-35-36) sts. When the piece measures 39-42-45 (47-50-53) cm bind off the centre 5-6-7 (8-9-10) sts for the neck. Continue to bind off on every other row as follows: 2 st 1 time and 1 st 2 times = 9 sts left for each shoulder. Bind off remaining sts when the piece measures 45-48-51 (54-57-60) cm. Back piece: Cast on and knit as front piece. Bind off for the armholes as done for the front and continue until the piece measures 43-46-49 (52-55-58) cm. Bind off the centre 11-12-13 (14-15-16) sts for the neck. Continue to bind off 1 st each neck side = 9 sts left for each shoulder. Bind off remaining sts when the piece measures 45-48-51 (54-57-60) cm. Sleeve: Loosely cast on 22-22-22 (22-26-26) sts (inclusive of 1 edge st each side) on needles size 9 mm in Snow. Knit 6 cm rib. Knit 2 rows of garter sts and continue in stocking sts. At the same time after the rib inc 1 st each side on every 6-5-4.5 (4.5-6-5.5) cm a total of 4-5-6 (7-6-7) times = 30-32-34 (36-38-40) sts. When the piece measures 26-29-32 (35-39-43) cm bind off for sleeve cap each side on every other row as follows: 3 sts 1 time and 2 st each side until the piece measures 29-33-37 (41-46-51) cm, bind off 3 sts each side 1 time and bind off remaining sts on next row. The piece now measures approx 30-34-38 (42-47-52) cm. Assembly: Sew the right shoulder seam. Neck: Pick up (from the left shoulder) approx. 36-44 sts (divisible with 4) around the neck on needle size 9 mm. K 1 row from the wrong and K 1 row from the right side, continue in Rib – make sure to have 2 P sts mid front. When the neck measure 3-4-5 (5-5-6) cm split for a slit mid front and finish each part separately. Continue the Rib with 1 garter st each side of the slit mid front. When the piece measures 6-7-8 (8-9-10) cm bind off in Rib. Sew the left shoulder seam and continue up along the neck, sew in the most outer part of the most outer st to avoid a chunky seam. Sew in the sleeves and the side seams inside the edge st, down to the slits at the sides. HAT: Size: 3/5 – 6/9 – 10/14 years Materials: Snow 50-50-100 g colour no. 12, Light blue and use: Camelia NB! Camelia is discontinued, replace with Garnstudio’s Alpaca which is a good alternative to Camelia. Remember to adjust the yardage when substituting yarns. 50-50-50 g colour no. 34, orange DROPS circular needle size 10 mm Knitting tension: 9 sts x 12 rows with 1 thread of each quality on needles size 10 mm in stocking sts = 10 x 10 cm. Garter sts (back and forth on row): Knit all rows. The hat is knitted back and forth on circular needles because of the knitting technique used for the top, beginning at the centre back. Cast on 38-42-46 sts with 1 thread of Snow and 1 thread of Camelia (Alpaca) on circular needle size 10 mm. Knit 6 rows of garter sts, and continue in stocking sts. When the piece measures 12-14-16 cm bind off on every other row as follows: 6 sts 4 times and then on every row 5-7-9 sts 2 times = 4 sts left on row. The piece measures approx. 19-21-23 cm. Now knit the top as follows from the right side: Knit a row, *push sts to the right side of needle without turning, tighten the thread at the back side and knit another row from the right side*. Repeat from *-*. This way a round top is created in stocking sts without having to purl from the wrong side. Knit until the top measures approx 6-10 cm, cut the thread and pull through sts, pull tight and sew the thread tight. Sew the hat at the centre back in the outermost part of the outermost st to avoid a chunky seam. Pompoms: Make 2 small pompoms in Camelia (now Alpaca) with a diameter of approx. 4 cm. Attach the pompoms to the top of the hat, one each side at the top of the garter sts edge. SCARF: Size: approx. 14x120 cm – 17 x 140 cm – 20 x 160 cm Materials: Snow 150-200-200 g colour no. 12, light blue and use: Camelia (now Alpaca) 100-100-100 g colour no 34, orange DROPS pointed needles size 10 mm Knitting Tension: 9 sts x 18 rows with 1 thread of each quality on needles size 10 mm in garter sts = 10 x 10 cm. Garter sts (back and forth on needle): Knit on all rows. Cast on 13-15-18 sts on needles size 10 mm and 1 thread of Snow + 1 thread of Camelia (Alpaca). Knit in garter sts until the piece measures 120-140-160 cm, bind off. Pompoms: Make 6 small pompoms in Camelia (Alpaca) with a diameter of approx. 4 cm. Attach 3 pompoms each end of the scarf. |
