Thanks for the response to my previous question, but now I’m confused about the chart notes, which say to do a double YO and drop the 2nd stitch on the purl back...which a tutorial is posted on this pattern page... so is it a regular YO in the chart or a double YO? and am I supposed to knit the YO before the slipstitch or just do the YO. I’m having a really hard time correlating the chart with your reply. Thanks
09.12.2019 - 17:36DROPS Design answered:
Dear Lori, I'm sorry, yes please follow diagram text, ie make a double yarn over and not a single yarn over as pattern explains, I just missed that, my mistake - follow the previous answer just replacing the YO by "double YO" to match diagram. From WS, purl all stitches innside the 2 edge sts in garter stitch, and purl only first of both yarn overs, drop the 2nd yarn over on each double yarn over, Happy knitting!

I’m having confusion with the charted lace. If I understand correctly, on my first row of lace (i would K2, yo,yo, slip 1 k1, psso. ,then continue yo,yo, sl1, k1,psso, until I get to the center stitch, then I do the opposite, k2tog to the end, where I’ll knit 2 in the border. (Do I knit one stitch between the dbl yo and the decrease? Or just wrap the yarn, then slip the next stitch/knit2tog?).
08.12.2019 - 19:52DROPS Design answered:
Dear Lori, work (from RS): 2 sts in garter st; A.1A (= YO, K1, YO, slip 1 st as if to K, K 1, psso, YO) ; then repeat A.1B (=slip 1 st as if to K, K 1, psso, YO) until the middle stitch; work the middle stitch in stocking stitch; repeat A.2A (= YO, K2 tog) until 5 sts remain, work A.2B (= YO, K2 tog, YO, K1, YO) and finish with 2 sts in garter stitch. Happy knitting!

Bon tricot!

Diagram A1 bottom row where there are 7 stitches. Can you write out the pattern. Start with B. Also when do you start it and where. If you do it for that row then I can follow the other rows thank you.
27.02.2018 - 02:41DROPS Design answered:
Dear Laura, work A.1A as follows on row 1: (YO, K1, YO, K2 tog) and repeat A.1B (YO, slip 1 as if to K, K1, psso) repeat from (to) a total of 3 times, YO. You will increase 1 st on each side of A.1 = 5 YOs but only 3 sts dec. Happy knitting!

Pourriez vous m'expliquer les diagrammes? Je ne sais pas lire un diagramme. Encore merci pour votre aide.
13.01.2018 - 22:41DROPS Design answered:

Bon tricot!
