I loved this dress and some other patterns from Drops, but I do have problems with the way the measurements appears on the schematics. Are they the body or finished measurments? It would be nice if you could show a table in your 'How to' section, with some references. F.ex. Size S = Bust= 86cm, and so on. Thank you for the answear
30.07.2015 - 14:13DROPS Design answered:
Dear Grace Karen, the measurements in the chart are all finished measurements taken in cm flat from side to side. Compare with a similar garment you have and like the shape to find out the matching size and/or adjust/adapt as you like to. Happy knitting!

26.07.2015 - 01:38DROPS Design answered:
Bonjour Mme Dumas, on augmente 8 m pour le raglan et ce 20 fois au total, soit 154 m + (8 x 20 fois = 160 m) = 314 m. Bon tricot!

Hi, Lovely pattern, thank you. This might actually become my wedding dress, and my fiance's going to knit it :) Two questions just to be on the safe side: - I have a 20 cm difference between my bust and hips. This is usually one size or more... Does the pattern allow for this difference, or should it be modified? How can it be adjusted? - If I would prefer it to be 10 cm longer, is there a way to do this? Thank you
16.07.2015 - 21:08DROPS Design answered:
Dear Zsuzsanna, you will find at the bottom of the pattern a measurement chart with all measurements for each size, compare these to a similar garment you have and like the shape and adjust following your own wishes (adjusting lenght and width if required). Happy knitting!

Hei!
11.07.2015 - 21:12DROPS Design answered:

Bon tricot!

Model 160-1.

Then work A.6 (= 34 sts) 8-8-9-9-10-10 times in total in width. When A.6 has been worked 1 time vertically, switch to circular needle size 3.5 mm. Work A.5 over all sts. Cast off. SLEEVE: Worked in the round on double pointed needles. Slip sts from stitch holder back on double pointed needles size 4 mm and cast on 6-6-6-8-8-8 sts under sleeve = 72-76-80-84-88-92 sts. Work in stocking st for 2 cm, on next round dec 8 sts evenly = 64-68-72-76-80-84 sts. Switch to double pointed needles size 3.5 mm. Work A.5 over all sts. Cast off. Work the other sleeve the same way. |
