A.5 shows how to assemble. ---------------------------------------------------------- SQUARE 1 (without flower): Worked in the round. Work 4 ch with Big Delight on hook size 5 mm and form a ring with 1 sl st in 1st ch. ROUND 1: See diagram A.1 - Work 1 ch, 6 dc in ch-ring, finish with 1 sl st in 1st dc from beg of round. ROUND 2: Work 1 ch, * 1 dc in next dc, 3 ch *, repeat from *-* the entire round, finish with 1 sl st in 1st dc from beg of round = 6 dc and 6 ch-loops. ROUND 3-5: Work as SQUARE 1 - see diagram A.3. BLANKET: Work 59 pieces of SQUARE 1 and 58 pieces of SQUARE 2 (117 squares in total). ASSEMBLY: Work squares tog alongside and then across. Place the squares with 9 squares in breadth and 13 rows vertically - see diagram A.4. Place 2 and 2 squares on top of each other WS against WS, and crochet them tog with Nepal as follows: See diagram A.5 - ** work 1 dc in ch-loop in the corner on 1st square, 1 ch, 1 dc in ch-loop in the corner on 2nd square, * 3 ch, 1 dc in next ch-loop on 1st square, 1 ch, 1 dc in next ch-loop on 2nd square *, repeat from *-* until next corner, finish with 3 ch for transition to next square **. Repeat from **-**. Crochet an edge with Nepal around the entire blanket as follows: ** Work 1 dc in corner on one square, * 3 ch, 1 dc in next ch-loop *, repeat from *-* 3 more times (4 times in total), work 3 ch for transition to next square **. Repeat from **-** around the blanket but work as follows in every corner: Work 1 dc, 3 ch and 1 dc in ch-loop in the corner. |
