Aslo, the pattern I downloaded says to DC and the pattern here on the website says to TC? Which is it...it would make a big difference in sizing.

Did you print US-English ? Crochet terms are different in UK-English - see menu "Tips & Help/DROPS UK/US terminologie". Here you work in dc (us) ie tr (uk). Happy crocheting!

I am confused here: On next row ch 10 at the end of row, turn and crochet 1 dc in 4th ch from hook and 1 dc in each of the next 6 ch. Repeat other side. Does this mean to ch 10 first and then turn, crochet to the end, turn ch 10 and complete a second row? Or does it mean to ch 10 at each end of the same row for a total of one increased row?
10.05.2013 - 02:09DROPS Design answered:
Dear Carol, that's correct, you first ch 10 for an inc row one side, then on next row, you repeat this row to inc 7 sts on the other side. Happy crocheting !

Bon crochet !

On row 1 for example, it says: 1 dc in 4th ch from hook, *skip 1ch, 1 dc in ea. of the next 4 ch. Is there no ch. 1 between groups of 4 to match the skipped ch 1.? Otherwise this reduces the # of stitches. Thanks, Annetta (Love your patterns)
28.01.2013 - 21:10DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Kerans, it's correct, working the 1st row this way will reduce number of sts : 17 dc above 23 ch, but you then have a nice and loose edge. Happy crocheting !

On right front piece, when I start increasing in row three, do I increase on the end, then also increase right after that when starting the very next row? Because I'm doing that and the angle of the increase seems too steep. Thanks
20.01.2013 - 21:40DROPS Design answered:
Dear Michelle, you start inc for front piece when piece measures 5 cm/2 ", you will then inc both from RS and from WS working 2 dc in outermost dc. Don't forget to check your gauge ! Happy crocheting !

Hej!

Hi,Could you please explain the third line. Its not clear. Thanks LEFT SHOULDER BACK PIECE (when placed flat): ROW 3: Crochet 1 dc in each dc. Put piece aside and crochet RIGHT SHOULDER on back piece in the same way, turn piece.
19.09.2012 - 17:00DROPS Design answered:
Dear Emaan, you have to crochet the 3rd row for Left shoulder back piece in dc, i.e. : 1 dc in each dc from previous row. Then, cut the thread and put aside. Crochet now the right shoulder following same instructions. At the end of last row of right shoulder, turn piece to crochet the next row as indicated under Row 4. Happy crocheting !
