I am totally confused about the flounce on the purse I'm making. I've made the two circles and cannot figure out what I supposed to do to start the flounce. Is it something done separately from the circle and then attached to it? Or if not, what to I attach the string to?

You work the flounce onto the circle just made, you work in the rounds no 4, 7 and 10 on the circle so the flounce gets attached as you go. From RS of circle, and with yarn on this side stick hook through the 1st st on round one, get yarn and work as explained.

First you make the flat circle. Then you work the flounce onto the circle by crocheting through the circle from the RS. First flounce is worked in the 1st round on flat circle. You have the working yarn on the RS and stick the hook around the sts on round 1 on flat circle.

Inget som passar mig men det är just detta som gör er garnstudio till en bred som alla får något ifrån. Småsaker som väskor, pulsvärmare, sockr, vantar är ju bara så kul att göra. En stor stickning och en liten är allti kul att ha på gång.

Repeat ROUND 5 and 6 but with 1 more tr between each inc for each new round. NOTE! When repeating ROUND 5 also crochet 1 more tr at beg of round before crochet 2 tr in 1 tr the first time. Continue until there are a total of 11 rounds. Cut and fasten thread. Crochet 1 more circle in the same way. FLOUNCES: Crochet from RS with Cotton Viscose. Beg ROUND 1 (= 12 tr) in the centre of circle. Keep the thread on the RS of piece. ROUND 1: Crochet 1 dc in first tr on round-1 on circle, then * 1 ch, 1 dc in next tr on round-1 on circle *, repeat from *-* and finish with 1 ch and 1 sl st in first dc. Cut and fasten thread. Pull the thread-end from beg of round through the piece to WS and fasten. Crochet in the same way on ROUND 4, 7 and 10 on circle. ASSEMBLY: Place the 2 circles on top of each other with RS out. Crochet them tog with 1 dc in each tr along the edge through both layers with Bomull-Lin. Leave an opening of approx 15 cm. Now continue on front piece of bag only (the circle with flounces). Crochet 1 sl st in each tr on the 15 cm opening and finish with 1 sl st in first dc on round. Now crochet a ch-chain measuring 100 cm, finish with 1 sl st in the last dc before the row of sl sts (i.e. the other side of the opening on front piece). Now continue on back piece only. Crochet 1 sl st in each tr on the 15 cm opening and finish with 1 sl st in dc before the ch-chain. Now crochet 1 dc in each ch and finish with 1 sl st in dc before the opening. Now crochet a ch-chain measuring 100 cm ch and finish with 1 sl st at the other side of opening. Turn piece and crochet 1 dc in each ch and finish with 1 sl st in dc before the ch-chain.
