J'espere avoir reussi a me faire comprendre...

Knitted DROPS jumper with large collar in 2 threads ”Alpaca”. Size S - XXXL.
DROPS 108-21 |
|
Body piece: Worked in the round on circular needle. Cast on 160-176-188-208-228-248 sts on circular needle size 4.5 mm with 1 thread of each colour. P 1 round and continue in rib, K2/P2. When piece measures 10 cm change to circular needle size 5 mm and continue in stocking st, at the same time dec 12 sts evenly on first round = 148-164-176-196-216-236 sts. Insert 1 Marking thread (MT) at beg of round and 1 after 74-82-88-98-108-118 sts (to mark the sides). Remember the knitting tension! When piece measures 12 cm dec 1 st on both sides of each MT (= 4 dec per round) on every 9 cm a total of 3 times = 136-152-164-184-204-224 sts. Now read all of the following section before continuing! When piece measures 36 cm inc 1 st on both sides of each MT on every 5-5-6-6-7-7 cm a total of 3 times. At the same time when piece measures 37-38-39-40-41-42 cm cast off the middle 16-16-18-18-20-20 sts on front piece and continue back and forth on needle. When piece measures 48-49-50-51-52-53 cm dec 1 st each side towards mid front. At the same time when piece measures 50-51-52-53-54-55 cm cast off 6 sts each side for armhole (i.e. 3 sts on both sides of each MT). Now complete front and back pieces separately. Back piece: = 68-76-82-92-102-112 sts. Cast off to shape the armhole each side at the beg of every row: 2 sts 1-2-3-4-5-7 times and 1 st 1-2-2-4-6-6 times = 62-64-66-68-70-72 sts. When piece measures 68-70-72-74-76-78 cm cast off the middle 18-18-20-20-22-22 sts for neck and dec 1 st on neckline on next row = 21-22-22-23-23-24 sts left on each shoulder. Cast off when piece measures 70-72-74-76-78-80 cm. Right front piece: = 25-29-31-36-40-45 sts. Cast off for armhole at side as described for back piece. When piece measures 60-61-62-63-64-65 cm dec 1 st towards mid front. After all dec are complete there are 21-22-22-23-23-24 sts left on shoulder. Cast off when piece measures 70-72-74-76-78-80 cm. Left front piece: Like right front piece but mirrored. Sleeve: Worked in the round on double pointed needles. Cast on 44-44-48-48-52-52 sts on double pointed needles size 4.5 mm with 1 thread of each colour. Insert a Marking Thread (MT) at beg of round. P 1 round and continue in rib, K2/P2. When piece measures 8 cm change to needle size 5 mm and continue in stocking st, at the same time dec 5-3-5-4-6-4 sts evenly on first round = 39-41-43-44-46-48 sts. When piece measures 10 cm inc 1 st on each side of MT on every 3.5-3-3-2-2-2 cm a total of 11-12-13-15-16-17 times = 61-65-69-74-78-82 sts. When piece measures 49-48-48-46-45-44 cm - Note! Less on the larger sizes because of longer sleeve cap and wider shoulder – cast off 6 sts for armhole mid under sleeve (i.e. 3 sts on each side of MT) and continue back and forth on needle. Cast off to shape the sleeve cap each side at the beg of every row: 2 sts 3-3-4-4-4-4 times and 1 st 1-2-2-4-5-7 times, now cast off 2 sts each side until piece measures 56-56-57-57-58-58 cm, cast off 3 sts each side 1 time and cast off remaining sts. Piece measures 57-57-58-58-59-59 cm. Collar: Pick up 176 to 224 sts (divisible by 4) with 1 thread of each colour on circular needle size 4.5 mm along neckline on right front piece, round neckline on back piece and along neckline on left front piece. K 1 row from WS back and forth on needle and continue as follows: 1 edge st, rib K2/P2, and finish with 1 edge st. Continue like this until rib measures 10-10-11-11-12-12 cm. Now continue in rib, but at the same time slip 4 sts on a stitch holder each side at the beg of every row until there are 36 sts on each stitch holder. Now slip all sts back on needle and K 1 row on all sts, at the same time inc 1 st in each of the first/last 9 K-sections (as seen from RS) each side. Cast off on next row in rib. Place right side of rib over the left side at the bottom of neckline on front piece and attach through both layers. Assembly: Set in sleeves. www.garnstudio.com |
