Hej! O legge opp pa tva pinner ar for att skapa en tillrackligt los kant pa din stickning. med en del garn (t.ex. tunn mohair) blir det for stramt om du legger opp med endast en pinne. Hjelper detta? Halsningar fra Tucson Arizona!

Knitting tension: 20 sts x 24 rows in Berry pattern on needle size 5mm = 10 x 10 cm Garter stitch: Knit all rows. Berry pattern: See diagram M.1. 1st row in diagram is knitted from the wrong side. Decreasing tips (applies to neckline): Decrease within 3 edge sts from the right side. Dec as follows after 3 edge sts: P2 tog. Dec as follows before 3 garter sts: P2 tog into back of st. Back piece: Because of number of sts, knit back piece back and forth on circular needle. Read all of this section before knitting it! Cast on 78-86-94-106-118 sts (inclusive of 1 edge st each side, edge sts are knitted in garter st throughout) using both ends of circular needles size 5 with Vivaldi (use 2 needles to ensure the edge become elastic). Remove 1 needle and knit 2 rows garter st. Continue in M.1 with 1 edge st each side – 1st row in pattern = wrong side. When piece measures 6-6-6-8-8 cm, inc 1 st each side on every 3.-3.-4.-4.-4. cm a total of 4 times = 86-94-102-114-126 sts – knit new sts from wrong side and purl them from the right side until they fit into pattern (i.e. after all increases have been made, knit M.1 over all sts with 1 edge st each side). When piece measures 19-21-21-23-23 cm insert a marking thread each side. Now inc for sleeves as follows: cast on 4 sts each side on every 4th row (i.e. at the end of 3rd and 4th row) a total of 19-19-20-20-21 times – incorporate new sts in pattern as you go along but knit 1 edge st each side in garter until finished measurements. At the same time when piece measures 49-51-53-55-57 cm knit 4 rows garter st over the middle 26-26-26-30-34 sts (knit remaining sts as before but knit sts not fitting into pattern from the wrong side and purl them from the right side). Now cast off the middle 20-20-20-24-28 sts for neck. Dec 1 st at neckline on next row – see Decreasing tips. Continue in pattern with 1 edge st towards sleeve and 3 edge sts towards neckline (remember to knit all edge sts in garter st). After the last increase for sleeve and last decrease for neckline there are 108-112-120-124-132 sts left. Put sts on thread when piece measures 52-54-56-58-60 cm. Left Front: Cast on 44-48-52-56-64 sts (inclusive of 1 edge st at side and 3 edge sts towards middle front, remember to knit edge sts in garter st) using both needles size 5 with Vivaldi. Remove 1 needle and knit 2 rows garter st. Now knit M.1 with 1 edge st at side and 3 edge sts towards mid front (1st row = wrong side). When piece measures 6-6-6-8-8 cm inc at side as described for back piece = 48-52-56-60-68 sts. When piece measures 18-18-20-22-22 cm dec for V-neck towards mid front – see Decreasing tips – as follows: Dec 1 st on every 4th row a total of 16-16-16-16-20 times – knit sts not fitting into pattern from the wrong side and purl them from the wrong side until they fit into pattern again. After the decreases continue in pattern as before with 3 edge sts in garter st towards mid front. At the same time, when piece measures 19-21-21-23-23 cm insert a marking thread at side and increase for sleeve as described for back piece – remember 1 edge st in garter st at side. After the last inc for sleeve there are 108-112-120-124-132 sts on needle. When piece measures 52-54-56-58-60 cm, put sts on thread. Right front piece: As left front piece, but mirrored. Assembly: Sew shoulder seams (sts from threads on back and front pieces). Sew side seams within 1 edge st from marking thread and down. Crochet border: Crochet along both front pieces and neckline at back piece using hook size 7 and Snow as follows: 1 dc in first st, *1 ch, skip approx 0.5-1 cm, 1 dc in next st*, repeat from *-*. NB! The border should be even and not wavy. Tie together front pieces to close the jacket. |
