Was sehe ich falsch? Mit freundlichen Grüßen U. Hartmannschott
23.07.2021 - 15:30DROPS Design answered:
Reihe dann in jeder 4. Reihe, dh: 31-35-39-43-47-51 Maschen - 2 Maschen x 4-6-7-9-10-12 Mal - 2 Maschen = 4 Mal = 15-15-17-17-19-19 Maschen.

Quedan 17 puntos.

Love this pattern but despite reading very carefully just can't see ( or understand) how to get amount of stitches down from 129 to 73 for back . Have followed the M1 & M2 charts meticulously, but don't see any decrease instructions apart from the S1. K2tog .psso which are at odds with the numbers of M1's to be made. Would love to finishe this garment by Christmas 2016. What bit of the instructions am I misunderstanding please. 05/12/2016
04.12.2016 - 22:16DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Wood, M.1 starts over 18 sts (7 x 18 sts + 2 edge sts + 1 st in stocking st = 129 sts), but on rows 13, 17, 21, 25 you will dec 2 sts in the middle of each repeat, so that M.1 = 10 sts after 32 rows, you have then: 7 x 10 sts = 70 sts + 2 edge sts + 1 st in stocking st = 73 sts. Happy knitting!

Bon tricot!

Dear Mrs McFall, you will find at the bottom of the pattern a measurement chart with all measures in cm taken flat from side to side. Compare them to a similar garment you have and like the shape to find out the matching size. For any alternative, click here and remember your DROPS store may help you if required. Happy knitting!

GARTER ST (back and forth on needle): K all rows. PATTERN: See diagram M.1 and M.2 – the diagrams show the pattern from the RS. DECREASING TIP-1 (back piece): Dec 1 st from RS inside 2 garter sts. Dec as follows after 2 garter sts: K2 tog. Dec as follows before 2 garter sts: slip 1 st as if to K, K1, psso. DECREASING TIP-2 (front piece): Dec 1 st from RS on each side of st with marker as follows: work row until 1 st before st with marker, slip 1 st as if to K, K2 tog, psso. --------------------------------------------------- BACK PIECE: LOOSELY cast on 111-129-147-165-183-201 sts (includes 1 edge st each side) on needle size 5 mm with Paris. K 1 row from WS, K 1 row from RS and P 1 row from WS. Continue as follows: 1 edge st in garter st – see above - 6-7-8-9-10-11 repeats of M.1 across the row, 1 stocking st and 1 edge st in garter st. Continue like this. REMEMBER THE KNITTING TENSION! After M.1 piece measures approx 16 cm and there are 63-73-83-93-103-113 sts on row. Continue in M.2 over M.1 with 1 edge st each side – work the last but one st on row in stocking st as before. When piece measures 38-39-40-41-42-43 cm continue in garter st on all sts until finished measurements. When piece measures 49-50-51-52-53-54 cm cast off 2-3-4-5-6-7 sts each side for armhole and dec 1 st each side inside 2 garter sts at the beg of every row a total of 6-8-9-11-12-14 times – SEE DECREASING TIP-1 = 47-51-57-61-67-71 sts. Cast off all sts when piece measures 64-66-68-70-72-74 cm. FRONT PIECE: Cast on and work like back piece until piece measures 49-50-51-52-53-54 cm – adjust so that next row is from RS. Insert a marker in the middle st in piece. Cast off the first 0-1-2-3-4-5 sts for armhole and repeat the dec the other side at the beg of next row from WS, AT THE SAME TIME cast off st with marker (= middle st) for split on this row and complete each side separately. Slip sts on the right side on a stitch holder. LEFT FRONT PIECE: = 31-35-39-43-47-51 sts. Insert a marker in the middle st. On next row from RS dec on each side of marker – SEE DECREASING TIP-2 - and repeat the dec on every other row a total of 4-6-7-9-10-12 times and then on every 4th row a total of 4 times = 15-15-17-17-19-19 sts left on shoulder. Continue for strap in garter st until piece measures 68-70-72-74-76-78 cm, and cast off. RIGHT FRONT PIECE: Slip sts from stitch holder back on needle = 31-35-39-43-47-51 sts. First row = RS. At the beg of row pick up 1 st in the st cast off when dividing front piece and K this tog with first st on row (to avoid a hole at bottom of V-neck). Continue as described for left front piece. ASSEMBLY: Sew side seams inside 1 edge st and sew straps to back piece – sew in outer loops of sts to avoid a chunky seam. |
