Vielen Dank.

Liebe Frau Hinzmann, sollte Ihre Maschenprobe (10 Maschen x 14 Reihen glatt rechts mit 2 Fäden = 10 x 10 cm) stimmen, dann brauchen Sie 600 g DROPS Alpaca Bouclé, sollten Sie eine andere Wolle brauchen, dann lassen Sie die neue Garnmenge mit unserem Garnumrechner kalkulieren.

Buen trabajo!

---------------------------------------------------------- EXPLANATION FOR THE PATTERN: ---------------------------------------------------------- GARTER STITCH (back and forth): Knit all rows. 1 ridge vertically = knit 2 rows. DECREASE TIP: All decreases for V-neck are done from right side, decreased inside 5 band stitches in garter stitch + 1 stitch in stocking stitch (= 6 stitches). Decrease every 4th row (i.e. every other row from right side) 2 times, then decrease every other row (i.e. every row from right side) 5-5-7-6-6-6 times. After the 6 stitches decrease as follows: slip 1 stitch knitwise, knit 1, pass slipped stitch over stitch worked (= 1 stitch decreased). Before the 6 stitches decrease as follows: knit 2 together (= 1 stitch decreased). BUTTONHOLES: Decrease for buttonholes on right band (inside 2 stitches from edge) from right side: Knit 2 stitches, 1 yarn over and knit 2 together. On next row knit yarn over to make holes. Decrease first buttonhole when piece measures 16-18-16-17-18-16 cm from cast-on edge, then decrease the other 3 holes, approx. 8-8-9-9-9-10 cm between each buttonhole. ---------------------------------------------------------- START THE PIECE HERE: ---------------------------------------------------------- JACKET - SHORT OVERVIEW OF THE PIECE: Piece is worked back and forth on circular needle bottom up. Sleeves are worked back and forth on circular needle, bottom up. BACK PIECE: Cast on 52-56-62-66-70-76 stitches with 2 strands Alpaca Bouclé on circular needle size 9 mm. Work 2 ridges in GARTER STITCH - read explanation above. Work in stocking stitch with 5 stitches in garter stitch in each side until piece measures 8-8-8-10-10-10 cm (= vent), then work in stocking stitch over all stitches until piece measures 46-48-49-50-50-51 cm. Cast off 2-3-5-5-6-8 stitches on beginning of the next 2 rows = 48-50-52-56-58-60 stitches. Continue to work until piece measures approx. 61-64-66-68-70-72 cm. On next row from right side cast off the middle 12-12-12-14-14-14 stitches and finish each shoulder separately (18-19-20-21-22-23 stitches remain for each shoulder). Work and cast off 1 stitch on first row from the neck = 17-18-18-20-21-22 stitches remain on shoulder. Cast off when piece measures 63-66-68-70-72-74 cm from cast-on edge – NOTE! It is important to cast off (do not sew grafting/kitchener stitches), so that the garment keeps its shape. LEFT FRONT PIECE: Cast on 31-33-37-38-40-43 stitches with 2 strands Alpaca Bouclé on circular needle size 9 mm. Work 2 ridges. Work in stocking stitch with 5 stitches in garter stitch in each side until piece measures 8-8-8-10-10-10 cm (= vent), then work in stocking stitch with 5 band stitches in garter stitch in the left side seen from right side. Work until piece measures 40-42-43-44-45-46 cm from cast-on edge. READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING SECTION BEFORE CONTINUING! Begin decrease for V-neck before casting off for armholes and continue decrease for V-neck after cast off for armholes. Begin decrease for V-neck on next row from right side - read DECREASE TIP in explanation above. Cast off 2-3-5-5-6-8 stitches for armhole in the opposite side when piece measures 46-48-49-50-50-51 cm. When cast off for armhole and all decreases for V-neck are done, 22-23-23-25-26-27 stitches remain on needle. Work in stocking stitch with band stitches until piece measures 63-66-68-70-72-74 cm, adjust so that next row is from right side. Cast off the first 17-18-18-20-21-22 stitches by knitting = 5 band stitches remain on needle. Continue to work in garter stitch over these stitches until band measures approx. 9-9-10-10-11-11 cm from shoulder. This part of band should be sewn to neck edge on back piece. RIGHT FRONT PIECE: Cast on 31-33-37-38-40-43 stitches with 2 strands Alpaca Bouclé on circular needle size 9 mm. Work 2 ridges. Work in stocking stitch with 5 stitches in garter stitch in each side until piece measures 8-8-8-10-10-10 cm (= vent), then work in stocking stitch with 5 band stitches in garter stitch in the right side seen from right side. When piece measures 16-18-16-17-18-16 cm, decrease for BUTTONHOLES – read explanation above. Begin decrease for V-neck on next row from right side - read DECREASE TIP in explanation above, and cast off 2-3-5-5-6-8 stitches in the other side for armholes when piece measures 46-48-49-50-50-51 cm. When cast off for armhole and all decreases for V-neck are done, 22-23-23-25-26-27 stitches remain on needle. Work in stocking stitch with band stitches until piece measures 63-66-68-70-72-74 cm, adjust so that next row is from wrong side. Cast off the first 17-18-18-20-21-22 stitches by purling = 5 band stitches remain on needle. Continue to work in garter stitch over these stitches until band measures approx. 9-9-10-10-11-11 cm from shoulder. This part of band should be sewn to neck edge on back piece. SLEEVES: Cast on 32-32-34-34-36-36 stitches on circular needle size 9 mm with 2 strands Alpaca Bouclé. Work 2 ridges. Continue in stocking stitch until piece measures 20 cm, now increase 1 stitch in each side by making 1 yarn over inside 1 stitch in each side (purl yarn over twisted on next row to avoid holes). Increase every 4 cm 1-2-2-3-4-5 times in total = 34-36-38-40-44-46 stitches. Work until piece measures 47-47-48-47-47-47 cm from cast-on edge. Cast off knitting from right side. Insert 1 marker in each side of sleeve approx. 3-4-7-7-8½-11 cm down from cast-off edge – use this marker when sewing sleeves on to front and back piece. ASSEMBLY: Sew shoulder seams together edge to edge. Sew band in garter stitch together - cast-off edge against cast-off edge. Fasten side of band to neck edge on back piece, sew with small stitches, edge to edge. Fasten sleeve in front and back piece inside cast off for armholes. Sew sleeves together from cast-on edge up to marker on sleeve. Sew the last cm from marker and up to cast-off for armholes on front and back piece. Sew side seam down to where ridges begin in the side (= 8-8-8-10-10-10 cm vent). |
