Ho realizzato la cuffia, stupenda. Ora, utilizzando lo stesso grafico per lo scialle, vorrei realizzare un piccolo poncho. Cosa mi consigliate di fare? C'è un modello simile tra i vostri che meglio si adatta? Grazie

I made one shawl and several of the hats! They make a cute accessory for a bad hair (or thinning hair) day -- even in summer. Thanks, Drops!

Oh, dear, I meant to ask a question. In knitting the hat, do I measure from where the charts begin? Or do I include the band in getting 6 1/4", 8", 9 3/4"? Thank you!

I am having a lovely time knitting the hat. Just this question: do I include the band when arriving at 16 cm/6 1/4", 8", and 9 3/4"? Or do I measure from where the charts begin, leaving the band out? Thank you!

Dear Mimi Routh, measurements are taking from cast on row, ie including the edge in garter st. Happy knitting!

Then work as follows: ROW 1 (= RS): K 1, 1 YO, K 6, 1 YO, K 1, 1 YO, K 6, 1 YO, K 1 = 19 sts on needle. Insert a marker in the middle st. ROW 2 (= WS): K 1, 1 YO, K until 1 st remains, 1 YO and K 1 = 2 sts inc. ROW 3: K 1, 1 YO, K until mid st, 1 YO, K 1 (= mid st), 1 YO, K until 1 st remains, 1 YO and K 1 = 4 sts inc.
