I wanted to use the same colour that is used for this model. But there is no no.33 in Snow. So disappointing

Dear Mrs Rijnhart, the shade card to DROPS Snow was updated since this pattern has been published, but your DROPS Store will help you (even per mail or telephone) finding the best matching colors. Happy knitting!

Sorry to trouble you again but can you please advise in which row I should knit 5th & 6th stitches together? Would I do this after the 2nd row? How many stitches should I then have remaining and then would I continue with subsequent decreases as per the pattern guidance . I am knitting the hat in the round. Thank you in advance for your assistance, Ann
06.11.2023 - 17:36DROPS Design answered:
Dear Ann , this applies in size M when piece measures 11 cm, ie when it says to decrease by knitting every 5th and 6th stitch together read knitting tips. Then decrease just as explained in the pattern. Happy knitting!

Felting: Put hat into washing machine with detergent without enzymes or bleach. Wash at 40 C with normal spin and without pre-wash. After wash while hat is still wet, put it on to shape and fit to correct size and shape. In future, wash hat on normal wool programme. SCARF Measurements: Approx 26 cm x 155 cm Materials: DROPS Snow 300 g colour no 33, red mix DROPS needles size 10 mm – or the needle size needed to obtain correct knitting tension. AFTER FELTING: If the piece is not felted enough and is too big: Wash the piece one more time in the washing machine while it is still wet add a terry towel that measures approx. 50 x 70 cm - NOTE: Do not use a short program. If the piece has been felted too much and is too small: While the piece is still wet stretch it to the correct measurements, if the piece is dry, make sure to soak it first.
