I am a bit confused with the lenght of front / back: from the beginning of armhole to cast off it is supposed to be 25 cm, as shown in the diagram. That is more than half of the total length, it seems a very long armhole. Is the diagram correct? Also I would like to make the jumper shorter (39 cm instead of 42 cm). Could you give me any advice on how to do it? Thank you very much. I am knitting this for my teenage daughter, she loves it.
30.03.2022 - 16:54DROPS Design answered:
Dear Silvia, everything is correct, as this jumper was designed, the armholes were quite deep - we are unfortunately not able to adjust every pattern to every single request, but feel free to request assistance from your DROPS store, they will help you, even per mail or telephone. Thanks for your comprehension. Happy knitting!

Hello, how much grams does the sweater need? I want to make it in one color, but there's only written how many balls of each color are needed. Thank you :)
23.11.2021 - 11:42DROPS Design answered:
Dear Hana, sorry we do not have the amount of yarn required with only one colour since this jumper has been worked with stripes and we don't have it anymore. You can add each single colour for your size, you might require somewhat less. Please contact your DROPS store for any further individual assistance, they will help you even per mail or telephone. Happy knitting!

Hi I'm confused about increasing stitches in the sleeves. At what point in the round do I increase? Also unsure what alternating between third and fourth round means. Do I increase every round? Thanks!
04.12.2020 - 13:48DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Millar, increase mid under sleeve, on each side of the marker for beg of round, eg work the round until 1 sts remain before end of the round, increase 1 stitch, work 2 sts (marker is in the middle of these 2 sts), increase 1 st. *Work 1 round with increase, 2 rounds without inc, 1 round with inc, 3 rounds without inc*, and repeat until all increases are done. Happy knitting!

Would 186 yds of a color similar to "wine" be enough yarn to make a stripe that requires 2 balls of DROPS muskat?
13.05.2018 - 03:12DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Bouayad, DROPS Muskat is 109 yds a ball (see here - you need 2 balls in colour 41 so you may have need more or less 218 yds in this colour. Happy knitting!

I'm confused about binding off for the sleeve cap for this pattern (size M). How many sts are left on the needle to bind off at the end?(at 22") Am I supposed to BO2sts, k to last 4 sts, then (k2tog) 2x's every other row (which decreaes 4 sts 12 times? Or should I BO2 sts beg each row 12 times which wouldn't knit to 22" Thank you for your response N Bellasalma
02.10.2014 - 18:45DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Bellasalma, you bind off for sleeve cap in size M 2 sts a total of 12 times at beg of every row each side, ie *bind off 2 sts at beg of row, work remaining sts on row, turn and bind off 2 sts at beg of row, work remaining sts on row*, repeat from *-* a total of 12 times, ie a total of 24 rows, approx 3.54 inch. Happy knitting!
