Witam.

What is head circumference for each size, please? Your other patterns where this measurement is given suggest S/M is 54/56 cm. As this pattern has 90 tr on each round before the brim, at a tension of 20tr per 10cm, the head circumference of the small size would only be 45cm. The large size with 100 tr per round would be 50cm. Is there a lot of stretch in this yarn? I would like a hat for 57cm, so which would be the better size in this pattern? Many thanks. Hilary ❤
19.07.2022 - 00:47DROPS Design answered:
Dear Hilary, indeed the measurements seem to be missing. Unfortunately, this is an old pattern and we are unsure if the measurements are available, we will contact the design department just in case. We recommend you start working the second size and, as you work, keep measuring as you increase until you reach your desired head circunference (even if you need to work extra rows). It's important to maintain the gauge specified in the pattern so that the hat does not get too big or too small and the stitch counts can still be applied. Happy knitting!

Under 6.-10.

01.07.2022 - 11:13DROPS Design answered:
Hei Elisabet. Når du hekler 5. omg hekler du 2 enkelt staver mellom hver gang du hekler 2 staver i sammen stav (øker) = 40 staver. Når du hekler 6. omg hekler du 3 enkelt staver mellom hver gang du hekler 2 staver i sammen stav (øker) = 50 staver. Når du hekler 7. omg hekler du 4 enkelt staver mellom hver gang du hekler 2 staver i sammen stav (øker) = 60 staver, osv. Du øker med 10 stav på hver omgang. 8. omg = 70 staver, 9. omg = 80 staver, 10. omg = 90 staver. Hekler du str. L hekler du 1 omg til = 10 staver. mvh DROPS Design

I had such high hopes for this. Something is lost in translation. Instructions say dc but I see your comment to someone says tr. I agree there is no way to form a flat disc. I wish I could upload a video to show how it does not work it would have been nice if you did using the recommended yarn. I am a very good crocheter but unfortunately I have to let this go. Such a pretty hat!
26.07.2021 - 12:52DROPS Design answered:
Dear Cheryl, make sure you are reading the correct English pattern since US and UK have different terminology, for example a treble crochet in UK-English is a double crochet in US-English - edit pattern by clicking on the scroll down menu below the picture. And also make sure to have the correct tension. Happy crochetin!

Mitä hyötyä on ensimmäisen kerroksen 5 pylväästä?
