Hi, I'm interested in crocheting this pattern, but I'm new to crocheting. I can only find size M. Have I overlooked the other sizes somewhere on the pattern? I am interested in making the pattern in a Large. How would I go about figuring the dimensions and the extra stitches needed? Thank you in advance.

Dear Barbara, this pattern is only available in size M; you will find all our patterns for crocheted cardigan in size L here - one of them might inspire you. Happy crocheting!

Hello, I would like to further understand the last symbol on the diagram, which says " 3 ch, 1 dc in first ch". I understood that between each single crochet, 3 chains should be made, however I don't understand where the dc should be put. Also, in row 3, the 5th and 6th sc are worked one after the other without any chains? Thank you!!
23.05.2024 - 04:38DROPS Design answered:
Dear Lina, this dc should be worked in the first of the 3 chains you just worked, you then created a small picot - see. this video. Happy crocheting!

Hej, jag undrar om ni har några tips för hur man kan göra mönstret till en tröja istället för en kofta. Det är jättefint men tycker ringningen är lite stor.

How would this fit if it was made for a size small? Or how should I convert it to a smaller size? (Sorry, I accidentally left this at a comment. I'm really excited to make this pattern!)
12.07.2023 - 06:54DROPS Design answered:
Dear Violet, you can use the following lesson to see how to adapt a pattern to a smaller size: https://www.garnstudio.com/lesson.php?id=25&cid=19. You will need to recalculate the pattern. You just need to ensure that the number of stitches you cast is a multiple of the number of stitches in a repeat of the pattern, so that the pattern doesn't get interrupted. Happy crocheting!

When 3 vertical pattern repeats remain (piece measures approx 33 cm) dec to shape the neckline as follows: In the first vertical repeat do not crochet the 2 horizontal repeats towards neckline, in the second repeat do not crochet the 1 repeat towards neckline (= 3 dec horizontal repeats). Crochet the last vertical repeat without dec. Sleeve: Crochet 73 ch on crochet hook size 3 mm and work pattern. When piece measures 29.5 cm, crochet 12 new ch each side (1 additional repeat each side), crochet 2 vertical repeats. Crochet 12 new ch each side and crochet 1 vertical repeat. Crochet 12 new ch each side (= 3 additional repeats, total = 12 repeats on row). Crochet the last vertical repeat, piece measures approx 43.5 cm. Assembly: Sew the shoulder seams. Crochet a row of dc on crochet hook size 2.5 mm as follows: approx 85 dc along right front piece, approx 48 dc along neckline on front piece, approx 76 dc along neckline on back piece and approx 85 dc along left front piece. Crochet next row as follows: * 3 ch, 1 tr in the first ch, skip 2 dc, 1 dc in next dc*, repeat from *-*. Crochet a row of tr round bottom edge and sleeve edges and crochet second row as described for front opening. Set in sleeves (armhole = approx 30 cm) and sew on buttons (used the second crochet row on front band as buttonholes). |
