Please tell me .... What does the abbreviation "inc" mean after one has worked Rows 14 & 15 : as 13th row? In other words Row 16! Thank you
12.08.2023 - 17:02DROPS Design answered:
Dear Ros, after you have worked rows 14 and 15 like you worked row 13, you now increase the same way as you did on row 13 (= row 16), then crochet 3 rows without increasing (row 17, 18 and 19), then increase on next row as before (row 20) and repeat the last 4 rows. Happy crocheting!

Bonjour.

Tack i förskott!!

MAGIC CIRCLE: When piece is worked in the round, start with this technique to avoid holes in the middle (instead of ch-ring): Hold the yarn end and wind the yarn one time around the index finger to make a loop. Hold the loop with left thumb and middle finger, place the thread over left index finger. Insert hook through the loop, make a YO and pull thread through loop, work 3 ch, then work 11 tr around the loop. Pull yarn end to tighten the loop. Fasten the yarn end on the back side. CROCHET TIP: Replace 1 htr at beg of round with 2 ch. STRIPES: Work stripes as follows: 0-27 cm: 2 threads off white 27-37 cm: 1 thread off white and 1 thread ice blue 37-47 cm: 2 threads ice blue 47-57 cm: 1 thread ice blue and 1 thread grey blue 57-67 cm: 2 threads grey blue ---------------------------------------------------------- SHAWL: Shawl is worked in stripes - see explanation above.
