Bon tricot!

I'm confused as to why the sleeve length is longest for the small size going to shortest for the largest size. Am I right in thinking I can knit the sleeve to my own wrist-to-underarm length of 17-3/4" for the medium size I am making? Or am I overlooking something?
29.10.2014 - 05:26DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Willette, sleeves will be longer in larger size since shoulder part is then smaller than in larger size - see also measurement chart at the bottom of thhe pattern. Happy knitting!

I knitted this in Lima instead. I re-did the edges at the end, knitting extra firm but it still came out wobbly. It was lying finished in a drawer unwearable for 6 months. After heavy blocking I am wearing it for the first time now. I'm really disappointed. I am an experienced and even knitter. Could it be the yarn excange causing this?
