Noe stemmer her ikke??

Felted DROPS slippers in ”Snow”. Size 35-44.
DROPS 118-11 |

SLIPPER: Worked in 1 piece with seam mid front and mid back. Beg at top of foot – SEE MEASUREMENT CHART! Cast on 10-10-12-12 sts on needle size 8 mm with Snow. Work stocking st, AT THE SAME TIME cast on new sts at the end of every row from RS as follows: 4 sts 5-6-6-7 times and 1 st 3 times = 33-37-39-43 sts on needle. REMEMBER THE KNITTING TENSION! When piece measures 22-24-24-25 cm insert a marker = mid under foot. Now work the other side of slipper with dec instead of inc. Beg dec when slipper measure the same from marker as it measures from the last inc to the marker. Cast off at the beg of every row from WS as follows: 1 st 3 times, 4 sts 5-6-6-7 times = 10-10-12-12 sts left on needle. Cast off. ASSEMBLY: Fold slipper mid under foot and sew tog mid front from the toe and on the bottom 12-12-14-14 cast on sts. Pick up approx 65-70 sts round the opening with Snow (make sure to pick up enough sts to make an elastic border). K 2 rows back and forth on needle and cast off. Sew seam mid back (A + B) in outer loops of sts. Make 1 more slipper. FELTING: Wash the slippers in the washing machine at 40 degrees with a detergent free of enzymes and optical bleach – normal spin and no pre-wash. After wash try on the slipper to shape it the right size. Leave to dry. At subsequent washes wash the slipper at a wool programme. Sew the silk ribbon to the front of slipper and tie a bow. AFTER FELTING: If the piece is not felted enough and is too big: Wash the piece one more time in the washing machine while it is still wet add a terry towel that measures approx. 50 x 70 cm - NOTE: Do not use a short program. If the piece has been felted too much and is too small: While the piece is still wet stretch it to the correct measurements, if the piece is dry, make sure to soak it first. Remember: All subsequent washes are as a normal wool garment. |
