Thank you for your reply I get that but after working 4 rows m1a I have worked m 1b 24 rows do I just repeat these 24 rows m1 b up the back
04.01.2016 - 16:32DROPS Design answered:
Dear Angela, that's correct, after M.1A, you work M.1B then work M1B, P 7-11 (see size), M.2B, P7-11, and after M.2B has been worked continue M.1B, P 7-11, work M.2C over M.2B, P 7-11. (Repeat M.1B in height and repeat M.2C in height). Happy knitting!

Hi have completed the sixteen rows of m2b and then m2c to repeat this pattern can you please explain. Where we start again to repeat this pattern
03.01.2016 - 22:26DROPS Design answered:
Dear Angela, M.2B is only 4 rows, when you have worked these 4 rows, work the 12 rows as in M2C and repeat these 12 rows upwards. Happy knitting!

Bon tricot!

PATTERN: See diagram M.1 and M.2. Diagram shows the pattern from RS. HEEL DECREASES: Row 1 (= RS): Work row until 5-6-6 sts remain, slip next st as if to P, P1, psso, turn piece. Row 2 (= WS): Work row until 5-6-6 sts remain, slip next st as if to K, K1, psso, turn piece. Row 3 (= RS): Work row until 4-5-5 sts remain, slip next st as if to P, P1, psso, turn piece. Row 4 (= WS): Work row until 4-5-5 sts remain, slip next st as if to K, K1, psso, turn piece. Continue dec like this with 1 less st before each dec until there are 10-10-12 sts on needle. --------------------------------------------------------- SOCKS: Worked in the round on double pointed needles from mid back. Cast on 46-50-54 sts on double pointed needles size 5 mm with 1 thread Merino and 1 thread Kid-Silk (= 2 threads). K 1 round and continue as follows: M.1A (= 8 sts), P2-3-4, K3, P2-3-4, M.2A (= 24 sts), P2-3-4, K3, P2-3-4. (M.1 = mid back). Continue like this until piece measures 5 cm, and now continue as follows: M.1B, P7-9-11, M.2B, P7-9-11. After 1 vertical repeat of M.2 B continue in M.2 C over M.2 B. Now dec as follows by P2 tog: Size 35/37: When piece measures 10 and 20 cm dec 1 st on each side of M.1 Size 38/40: When piece measures 7, 14 and 21 cm dec 1 st each side of M.1. Size 41/43: When piece measures 8, 15 and 22 cm dec 1 st each side of M.1 = 42-44-48 sts. Continue in pattern as before until piece measures 25-27-28 cm. Now keep the first 13-14-15 sts on needle, slip the next 24-24-26 sts on a stitch holder (= mid upper foot) and keep the last 5-6-7 sts on needle = 18-20-22 sts for heel. Now work M.1 and reverse stocking st back and forth on heel sts for 5-5.5-6 cm. Insert a marker, and now measure piece from here. Continue in reverse stocking st on all sts, AT THE SAME TIME dec for heel – see HEEL DECREASES. After heel dec pick up 10-11-11 sts each side of heel and slip the 24-24-26 sts from stitch holder back on needle = 54-56-60 sts. Continue in reverse stocking st on sts under foot and M.2 on upper foot. AT THE SAME TIME dec each side on every other round a total of 8 times as follows: P tog the 2 sts before the 24-24-26 sts on upper foot and the 2 sts after the 24-24-26 sts = 38-40-44 sts. Continue until piece measures 18-20-22 cm from marker on heel (= 4-4-5 cm remain). Now insert 1 marker each side with 19-20-22 sts on upper foot and 19-20-22 sts under foot. Continue in stocking st on all sts and dec for toes on each side of both markers as follows: before K1 and marker: K2 tog. After marker and K1: K2 tog into back of loop. Dec on every other round a total of 5-5-6 times and then on every round 2-2-2 times = 10-12-12 sts left on needle. On next round K2 tog all the way round. Cut the thread and pull it through remaining sts, tighten and fasten. |
