Bon crochet!

Im a very experienced crocheter and am having a hard time understanding your directions. I did fine till I reached the tip of the shawl where it seems that it needs more than the 3tr ch 1 3tr to go around the tip. Im going to wing it and hope it works out. It would be so much easier if you wrote the directions as row 1 then all the directions for that row, row 2 then all the directions for that row, etc. The way its written its like having to put together a puzzle.

Crochet DROPS shawl in 1 thread Silke-Alpaca or 2 threads BabyAlpaca Silk
DROPS 99-12 |

Crochet tension: 2.5 tr groups in the width x 4 tr groups in the height, using hook size 6 mm and 1 thread Silke-Alpaca or 2 threads BabyAlpaca Silk = 10 x 10 cm. Pattern: See diagram M.1. The diagrams are seen from the RS. Measurement tips: Because of the weight of the yarn, all measurements should be made whilst the garment is hanging. Crochet tips: For a quadruple tr crochet the same way as done for a dtr (see school of crochet – page 3), but make 4 yo’s around the hook (instead of 2) before pulling the hook through the st in the work. Crochet info (apply for the crochet edge): Substitute the first dtr beg. of round with 4 ch. Shawl: - Read Crochet tips. Crochet 5 ch with 1 thread Alpaca-Silk or 2 threads BabyAlpaca Silk and make a ring with a sl st. Then crochet according to M.1 NB! Crochet all dtr around the ch-loops from previous row. After M.1 is completed continue the inc. at the sides the same way as done earlier until the piece measures 80 cm in the height. Crochet edge: - read crochet info! Crochet 1 row around all off the shawl as follows: Around the small loops (4 ch/dtr) from the shawl: 3 dtr, 1 ch. Around the big loops (8ch/ quadruple tr) from the shawl and the ring at the beginning of the shawl: *3 dtr, 1 ch*, repeat from *-* 2 times. Continue only to crochet along the sides of the shawl – not the top edge: 1st row: 1 dtr around the ch from previous row, *3 ch, skip 3 dtr, 1 dtr in the next ch*, repeat from *-*. Turn. 2nd. row: 2 dtr in the first dtr,* 4 ch, 2 dtr in the same dtr, 1 ch, 2 dtr in the next dtr*, repeat from *-* until finish round. |
