Hoi Marga. Je moet de nld kiezen voor de juiste stekenverhouding in het patroon: 15 tricotst = 10 cm. Deze tas moet wat stevig worden - daarom wordt er hier ook een kleinere nld gebruikt.

Knitting Tension: width of 15 sts in Snow = 10 cm Cable pattern: see diagram M.1 The diagram is seen from the right side. Garter sts (on circular needle): knit 1 round, purl 1 round. Garter sts (back and forth on needle): knit all rows. Buttonhole: Cast off 1 st and cast on a new st on next row. The bag is knitted round on circular needle. Cast on 88 sts using needle size 5mm with Snow. Knit 8 rounds in garter sts (see above). On the last round inc 52 sts evenly = 140 sts. Knit M.1. When piece measures 30 cm continue in garter sts, at the same time dec 52 sts evenly on the first round = 88 sts. On the 6th round in garter sts make 3 buttonholes (see explanation above) at one side of bag as follows: K11, cast off 1 st for buttonhole, K10, cast off 1 st for buttonhole, K10, cast off 1 st for buttonhole, knit the remaining sts on round. Knit another 2 rounds in garter sts and cast off. Strap: Cast on 7 sts on circular needle size 5mm with Snow. Knit garter sts back and forth on needle until strap measures 90 cm. Cast off. Knit one more strap. Assembly: Sew the bottom seam. Attach both straps to each side of the bag so that the strap is double. NB! Place the straps so that the buttonholes are on one side of the bag. Sew on buttons to match the buttonholes. |
