Knitting Tension: width of 15 sts in Eskimo = 10 cm

Cable pattern: see diagram M.1 The diagram is seen from the right side.

Garter sts (on circular needle): knit 1 round, purl 1 round.
Garter sts (back and forth on needle): knit all rows.

Buttonhole: Cast off 1 st and cast on a new st on next row.

The bag is knitted round on circular needle. Cast on 88 sts using needle size 5mm with Eskimo. Knit 8 rounds in garter sts (see above). On the last round inc 52 sts evenly = 140 sts. Knit M.1. When piece measures 30 cm continue in garter sts, at the same time dec 52 sts evenly on the first round = 88 sts. On the 6th round in garter sts make 3 buttonholes (see explanation above) at one side of bag as follows: K11, cast off 1 st for buttonhole, K10, cast off 1 st for buttonhole, K10, cast off 1 st for buttonhole, knit the remaining sts on round. Knit another 2 rounds in garter sts and cast off.

Strap: Cast on 7 sts on circular needle size 5mm with Eskimo. Knit garter sts back and forth on needle until strap measures 90 cm. Cast off. Knit one more strap.

Assembly: Sew the bottom seam. Attach both straps to each side of the bag so that the strap is double. NB! Place the straps so that the buttonholes are on one side of the bag. Sew on buttons to match the buttonholes.

DROPS Design 26.07.2019 kl. 23:44:

Bonjour Danielle! Vous avez tout a fait raison. Bon tricot!

Diane Lahti 16.04.2019 - 20:19:

Can print this pattern

Nynke Snoek 29.03.2019 - 20:06:

Steffi 16.07.2012 - 20:07:

Oh, ich glaube, meine Frage hab ich mir gerade selbst beantwortet. Mir ist ein Licht aufgegangen. Entschuldigung :)

Steffi 16.07.2012 - 20:06:

Hallo.

Geula 30.08.2011 - 14:53:
