The result has a knitting tension of about 10 stitches = 10 cm = 4" using 10 mm = US15 needles, which is a perfect fit for patterns in knitting tension group 11 - 9 stitches.
Remember however that knitting tension varies from person to person and that the suggested needle size is only a guide. You can adjust the needle size to get a different tension - or match the tension recommended in the pattern you are working with. Just make a swatch!
