In this DROPS video we show how to arm knit a blanket. We have use 2 strands off DROPS Polaris and cast on 29 sts. Knit 15-17 rows (depending on your gauge). Bindoff, cut and fasten threads. You have a blanket in no time!

Hej Mailin. Du kan pröve at filte det lidt - lav eventuelt en pröve först og se hvad resultatet bliver og hvor langt du skal gaa i filteprocessen.

Dear Helene, we have used 800 g DROPS Polaris (= 8 balls 100 g each - see here - the blanket is 80 x 160 cm but very strechable. Happy Armknitting!

In this DROPS video we show how to arm knit a small Christmas shawl with cross and pompoms. Use DROPS Andes from Garnstudio 100 g off white (100) and 200 g Christmas red (3620). In this DROPS video we show how arm knit a scarf with tassels. The scarf is super easy to make and with DROPS Cloud it will be feather light and delicious scarf for cold winter days. In this DROPS video we have use 100 g off white (01) and 100 g medium grey (04) in DROPS Cloud. Cast on 8 sts with 4 strands and knitted 35 rows (length 75"/190 cm) and bound off. We have made 16 tassels (1 tassel = 4 strands à 20"/50 cm), folded them double and fasten them to the edges.

In this DROPS video we show how to finger knit two skeins Big Delight and then we arm knit a neckwarmer out of the new finger knitted skein. Cast on 7 stitches and arms knit 17-19 rows (depending on your gauge / size of your wrist). Bind offoff and sew short sides tog edge to edge, and voila, you have a great neckwarmer.

In this DROPS video we show you how to arm knit with a bulky yarn, in the end of this video we show how to arm knit a scarf/neckwarmer with three strands in DROPS Snow (we used 6 skeins and it goes twice around the neck). Start with making a slipknot and slip it over your wrist. Hold the yarn in the other hand and start cast on. Cast on the number of stitches you wish. Adjust tension so loops are not too loose or tight. Knit to you have your desired length. Binding off with knit stitches, you knit the stitches and then keep passing the next to last knitted stitch over the last knitted stitch. When 1 stitch remains, cut the thread, and pull yarn through last stitch.

How to work a sock with a diamond heel

In this DROPS video we give you a short overview of how to work a sock with a diamond heel. All stitches remain on the needles while knitting the heel. To make the heel, follow these steps: 1. Knit in the round, gradually increasing stitches at the back of the sock until the desired width and length of the heel have been achieved. 2. Decrease the heel stitches while continuing to knit in the round. 3. Continue knitting towards the toe. 4. The combination of increases and decreases forms a diamond-shaped section at the back of the sock, which is why this type of heel is called a diamond heel.
