Denne måde at slå op på minder om almindelig opslåning, men her slår man op med to forskellige farver. Start med at lave en løkke med begge tråde (denne løkke løses op senere), så alle m som slåes op er med 1 tråd. At slå op med to farver er en fin start på et to-farvet arbejde som intarsia, fairisle mønster, striber og dobbelt strik.

Dear Mrs Figueroa Mullane, in the Perly May jumper, cast on the sts with 2 strands of yarn as there were just one (there will be 2 strands of yarn for each st), then continue working with only 1 yarn. Casting off that way with 2 strands of yarn will avoid a tight cast-on edge. Happy knitting!
