See meetod meenutab kahe lõngaga ülesloomist, aga siin kasutame hoopis kahte eri värvi. Alustuseks pane lõngad kokku ja tee aas vardale. See aas lastakse hiljem vardalt maha, nii et kõik silmused luuakse ühe lõngaga. Selline silmuste loomine sobib kahevärvilistele või triipudega kudumitele.

Dear Mrs Figueroa Mullane, in the Perly May jumper, cast on the sts with 2 strands of yarn as there were just one (there will be 2 strands of yarn for each st), then continue working with only 1 yarn. Casting off that way with 2 strands of yarn will avoid a tight cast-on edge. Happy knitting!
