Este método de montaje trae a la memoria el montaje con 2 hilos, mas en su lugar, se trabaja con 2 hebras de colores diferentes.
Empezar haciendo un nudo corredizo sosteniendo las hebras doble (este será retirado después) para que todos los pts montados sean con 1 hebra de lana. Montar puntos con 2 colores es ideal para labores bi-color, tal como intarsia, fair-isle, franjas o “twined knitting” (técnica de jacquard escandinavo).

Dear Mrs Figueroa Mullane, in the Perly May jumper, cast on the sts with 2 strands of yarn as there were just one (there will be 2 strands of yarn for each st), then continue working with only 1 yarn. Casting off that way with 2 strands of yarn will avoid a tight cast-on edge. Happy knitting!
