This is an easy knitted dense texture that is great for scarfs, bags and maybe especially interior designs, like table runners, place mats, potholders, wash cloths etc.
Also great used as edge sts on garments where you don't want the bottom edge or front edges to roll...
Towards the end of video we also show how interesting the colorwork comes out working 2 rows alternately with 2 different colors.

Cast on an even number of sts. Work 1 edge st each side in garter st (K on every row).
1st row (WS): K1 (edge st), *P1, slip 1 purl-wise with yarn in back (from you)*, repeat *-*, end with K1.
2nd row (RS): K1 (edge st), *K1, slip 1 purl-wise with yarn in front (towards you)*, repeat *-*, end with K1.
Repeat row 1 and 2. When binding off, works still in pattern as you slip next to last st worked on right needle over last st worked.

Hi Jutta, no not yet, but may come. All the tensions of our yarns are listed on each color card, but also if you in top menu click Products, and then Yarn group A-F, and you will find all that info gathered in one place.

In this DROPS video we show how we work a simple texture pattern, also called the "Pebble" stitch. Cast on a number of stitches divisible by 2, we have cast on 16 stitches + 1 edge stitch in each side (knit on each row) = 18 stitches. 1. ROW (right side): Knit all stitches. 2. ROW (wrong side): Knit 1 edge stitch, purl all stitches, but knit the last stitch (edge stitch). 3. ROW: Knit 1 edge stitch, knit 2 and 2 together all row, knit 1 edge stitch. 4.
