CROCHET TOG SC:
Crochet 2 sc tog as follows: Insert hook in first st, pick up thread, insert hook in next st, pick up thread, make a YO and pull thread through all 3 sts on hook.
--------------------------------------------------------

SLIPPER:
Worked back and forth from top down.
Crochet 22-26-26 loose ch with hook size 8 mm / L/11 with Eskimo. Crochet 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook, then 1 sc in each ch to end = 21-25-25 sc. Continue back and forth with 1 sc in each sc - NOTE: Work 1 ch at beg of each row before working 1 sc in each sc, this ch do NOT replace the first sc but is additional to no of sts.
When piece measures approx 7-7-8 cm / 2 3/4"-2 3/4"-3 1/8" continue as follows:
ROW 1: 2 sc in first sc, 1 sc in each of the next 8-10-10 sc, 2 sc in next sc, ch 1, skip next sc, 2 sc in next sc, 1 sc in each of the next 8-10-10 sc and 2 sc in last sc, turn piece.
ROW 2: 1 sc in each of the first 12-14-14 sc, 7 dc round ch and 1 sc in each of the last 12-14-14 sc = 31-35-35 sts, turn piece.
ROW 3: 2 sc in first st, 1 sc in each of the next 13-15-15 sts, 2 sc in next st, ch 1, skip next st, 2 sc in next st, 1 sc in each of the next 13-15-15 sts and 2 sc in last st, turn piece.
ROW 4: 1 sc in each of the first 17-19-19 sc, 7 dc round ch and 1 sc in each of the last 17-19-19 sc = 41-45-45 sts, turn piece.
ROW 5: 2 sc in first st, 1 sc in each of the next 18-20-20 sts, 2 sc in next st, ch 1, skip the next st, 2 sc in next st, 1 sc in each of the next 18-20-20 sts and 2 sc in last st, turn piece.
ROW 6: 1 sc in each of the first 22-24-24 sc, 7 dc round ch and 1 sc in each of the last 22-24-24 sc = 51-55-55 sts, turn piece.
SIZE 5/6½ - 7½/9 finish here.
SIZE 9½/10½:
ROW 7: 1 sc in each of the first 27 sts, ch 1, skip next st and crochet 1 sc in each of the next 27 sts, turn piece.
ROW 8: 1 sc in each of the first 27 sc, 7 dc round ch and 1 sc in each of the last 27 sc = 61 sts, turn piece.

ALL SIZE:
After the last inc there are 51-55-61 sts on row. Continue back and forth with 1 sc in each st until 1 row remain before piece measures 17-18-19 cm / 6 3/4"-7"-7½" (measured down along one side from the top). Now work tog the first 2 sc and work tog the last 2 sc on row – SEE ABOVE (crochet remaining sc as before) = 49-53-59 sc. Cut and fasten thread.

ASSEMBLY:
Beg under foot by the toes. Sew tog edge to edge in outer loops of sts to avoid a chunky seam mid under foot and up along the heel to mid back on leg. Cut and fasten thread.
Make 2 slippers.

Love this pattern

Jazzy 01.09.2018 - 19:22:

I really like these slippers and I would really like to make them but I don't understand where the top is when you say (measure down along one side from the top) what is the top, is it when you fold it over and where you put your foot in or in step 6 where you do 7 double crochet in the round, is that the top? Also when I watched your video on how to assemble there was no sound is there supposed to be sound? Would you please clarify where the top is? Thanks!

DROPS Design 03.09.2018 kl. 08:01:

Hi Jazzy, The top is the top of the leg, i.e. the cast-on edge. Happy knitting!

Alexandra Knowles 01.05.2018 - 02:30:

I've followed this pattern exactly as stated but there must be part of it missing as the toe ends up in a point not nicely rounded as in the photo. After several attempts I\'ve given up but I really would like to make these slippers. Should there be a separate sole?

DROPS Design 02.05.2018 kl. 09:42:

Dear Mrs Knowless, pattern is complete, you may find help with the video below showing how to assembly these slippers. Happy crocheting!

Arianne 24.12.2017 - 10:28:

Prøv selv at måle .

DROPS Design 14.11.2017 kl. 08:22:

Hei Hanne.

Lynette Parsons 11.05.2017 - 18:25:

What does the final line in the instructions mean? Now work tog the first 2 sc and work tog the last 2 sc on row – SEE ABOVE (crochet remaining sc as before) = 49-53-59 sc.

DROPS Design 11.05.2017 kl. 22:08:

Dear Lynette, it means you decrease an sc at the beginning and the end of the row. This video will show you how This video will show you how I hope this helped. Happy Crocheting!

Tricot-tricot 20.12.2016 - 15:18:

Le modèle est chouette, mais au niveau du talon les augmentations sont un peu trop nombreuses, et le chausson n'épouse pas la forme du pied. Je referai l'essai en ne gardant qu'une seule augmentation au rang 1...

LynAnn 14.02.2016 - 21:16:

What is meant by 7dc around ch in row 2.

DROPS Design 15.02.2016 kl. 11:27:

Dear LynnAnn, on row 2, crochet 7 dc around ch-space made on row 1, ie do not crochet these 7 dc in the ch but around the ch. Happy crocheting!
