PATTERN:
See diagrams M.1 to M.3. Diagrams show the pattern from RS.
MOSS ST:
Row 1: * K1, P1 *, repeat from *-*.
Row 2: K over P and P over K.
Repeat row 2.

FRONT PIECE:
Cast on 75 sts on needle size 4 mm with 2 threads Alpaca. P 3 rows (first row = from WS) and continue in MOSS ST - see above.
When piece measures 5 cm P 3 rows (first row = from WS) and continue as follows: K1, M.1 on the next 72 sts and K2. Work 2 vertical repeats of M.1like this. K 3 rows and continue in MOSS ST until piece measures 39 cm. P 3 rows (first row = from WS). Cast off loosely.

BACK PIECE:
Cast on 75 sts on needle size 4 mm with 2 threads Alpaca. P 3 rows (first row = from WS) and continue in MOSS ST. When piece measures approx 7 cm work next row from RS as follows: 7 moss sts, cast off 1 st, * 14 moss sts, cast off 1 st *, repeat from *-* a total of 4 times and finish with 7 moss sts. On next row cast on 1 new st over each cast off st = 5 buttonholes. Continue in moss st on all sts until piece measures 8 cm. Now slip the first 4 sts (from RS) on a stitch holder, cast off the next 67 sts and slip the last 4 sts on a stitch holder.
Cast on 67 sts on needle size 4 mm with 2 threads Alpaca. K 12 rows (= button edge) and now slip the 4 sts each side on needle = 75 sts. Continue in Moss st on all sts until piece measures 39 cm. P 3 rows (first row = from WS). Cast off loosely.

ASSEMBLY:
Place the 2 pieces on top of each other, edge to edge, with RS facing out. Beg in a corner and crochet 1 dc through both layers with 2 threads Alpaca and crochet hook size 4 mm. Continue as follows: * 1 ch, 1 dc through both layers *, repeat from *-* round the whole cover and finish with 1 ch and 1 sl st in dc from beg of round. Cut and fasten thread. Sew buttons on button edge.

FLOUNCE BORDER:
Pick up 1 st in each dc and 1 st in each ch round the cover on circular needle size 4 mm with 2 threads Alpaca.
Continue as follows in the round: K 1 round, AT THE SAME TIME adjust no of sts to be divisible by 6. Now work 2 rounds rib, K3/P3, and continue in M.2 on all sts. After M.2 work 1 round rib, K5/P5, and now work M.3 on all sts. Work 1 round rib, K9/P9 and cast off loosely with K over K and P over P.

Beste, ben tevreden met het resultaat maar heb gezwoegd op de rand want de bijgeleverde rondbreinaald van 80 cm was veeeeel te kort om de laatste rijen erop te zetten, heb zeker meer dan de helft op een draad moeten zetten en dan weer opnemen, een heel werkje dus , als ik een langere rondbreinaald had gehad was het veel gemakkelijker geweest ! gelukkig had ik veel geduld! grts, caroline
