DECREASING TIP:
Dec 1 sc at the end of row by turning piece when 1 sc remains on row.
INCREASING TIP:
Inc 1 sc at the end of row by working 2 sc in the last but one sc.
--------------------------------------------------------
--------------------------------------------------------
SLIPPERS:
Crochet back and forth from toes towards the heel, and sewn tog mid upper foot afterwards.
Ch 5 (includes 1 ch to turn with) with hook size 6 mm / J/10 and with 1 thread red Eskimo and 2 threads Glitter (leave approx 30 cm / 11 3/4'' thread end and use this to sew slipper tog afterwards).
ROW 1: Skip the 1 ch closest to the hook, crochet 2 sc in each of the next 4 ch = 8 sc. Turn piece.
ROW 2: ch 1, then 2 sc in each sc = 16 sc. Turn piece.
ROW 3: ch 1, then * 1 sc in first sc, 2 sc in next sc *, repeat from *-* = 24 sc. Turn piece.
SIZE 5/6½ (35/37): Inc are now complete.
SIZE 7½/9 (38/40):
ROW 4: ch 1, then * 1 sc in each of the first 7 sc, 2 sc in next sc *, repeat from *-* = 27 sc.
SIZE 9½/10½ (41/43):
ROW 4: ch 1, then * 1 sc in each of the first 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc *, repeat from *-* = 30 sc.
ALL SIZES:
Continue back and forth with 1 sc in each sc until piece measures 8-9-10 cm / 3 1/8"-3½"-4". NOTE! Ch 1 at the beg of every row.
Now dec 1 sc at the end of every row
- See DECREASING TIP, and repeat the dec a total of 2-3-3 times each side = 20-21-24 sc. Continue with 1 sc in each sc until piece measures 15-18-20 cm / 6"-7"-8". Now inc 1 sc at the end of every row - See INCREASING TIP, and repeat the inc a total of 2 times each side = 24-25-28 sc. When slipper measures a total of 22-24-27 cm / 8 3/4"-9½"-10 5/8" fold it double and crochet tog mid back with a row of sl sts through both layers. Cut and fasten thread. Pull the thread end from the beg through the 4 ch by the toes, tighten at the top and sew slipper tog mid upper foot - sew edge to edge to where the dec beg. Cut and fasten thread.

CROCHET BORDER:
Crochet a border with off-white Eskimo round the opening of slipper as follows:
ROUND 1: Beg mid back, crochet 1 sc in each row and finish with 1 sl st in first sc from beg of round.
ROUND 2: ch 1, 1 sc in sl st from the end of previous round, * 3 ch, 1 hdc in the first of the 3 ch, skip approx 2 cm / 3/4'', 1 sc in next sc *, repeat from *-* and finish with 3 ch, 1 hdc in the first of the 3 ch, skip approx 2 cm / 3/4'', 1 sl st in sc from beg of round.
Cut and fasten thread.

STRAP:
Crochet a strap with 2 threads off-white Eskimo as follows: 1 sc in sc-row in the middle of one side, then crochet a ch-string measuring approx 16-20 cm / 6 1/4"-8", finish with 1 sl st in the first sc so that the ch-string forms a loop. Sew a button to the opposite side of slipper.

POMPOM:
Make 1 pompom with a diameter of approx 5 cm / 2'' with off-white. Sew the pompom to the slipper, not the crochet border, right in front of the button.
