Hey, I am having trouble understanding the decreasing part. Where do I start decreasing ?
13.12.2024 - 13:07DROPS Design answered:
Dear Veronica, when piece measures 22-24-28 (31-34) cm work in garter stitch over the middle stitches for 2 rows (it should form a small ridge), the remaining stitches are worked as before. After these 2 rows, on a row that starts from the mid front (so, where the first stitch is towards the mid front and not the side of the piece) cast off the first stitches. Then, decrease 1 stitch at the beginning of the next two rows from the right side by "slip 1 st as if to K, K1, psso" after the 3 sts in garter stitch. When working the other front piece you will decrease by K2 tog before the 3 sts in garter stitch (since you will work it mirrored). Happy knitting!

Bon tricot!

Good morning, Thank you for the lovely patterns. I have a question about binding off on the right front (pattern Drops Baby 16-16). If I bind off the same way I bound off the left front, the neck line does not match. Should I use purl stitches rather than knit stitches? Thanks for your help.
09.05.2023 - 18:10DROPS Design answered:
Dear Jane, correct, the stitches for neckline on right front piece are at the beg of a right side row, so that you can cast off knit wise, but you can purl them if you like.Happy knitting!

24.06.2021 - 12:50DROPS Design answered:
