01.06.2016 - 13:32DROPS Design answered:
Hej Birgitte. Ogsaa her vil jeg give dig ret.

I would like to know the bust size or something like that of the s/m and the next size up. Thank you. It's a beautiful pattern and the yarn is a good value and good quality, being a DROPS yarn. I was also unsure about the numbers of the schematic. Are they inches? Centimeters?
29.05.2016 - 03:08DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Easson, you can find a measurement chart at the bottom of the page: compare them with a garment you have and you'll find the right size. The measures in the chart are in cm,those in the pattern are in cm if you've selected Uk language on in inches if you've selected US language. Happy knitting!

On the pattern drawing, the measurements at the left side must be mixed up: 39-44-43-43. the side measuring 39 cm is depicted as being longer than the side that is 64 cm long?? It would be helpful in these pattern drawings an arrow showing the direction of knitting. A sleeve is knitted from the cuff up, so direction is clear, but with a pattern piece like this one, it is hard to tell where the cast on actually is and which direction you are knitting in.
25.05.2016 - 16:09DROPS Design answered:
Dear Suzanne, measurement chart can be read from bottom up in knitting direction, so that you work 8 cm (1st size) before casting on new sts on each side for sleeve, then work for 39 cm, cast off sts for sleeve on each side and work for 8 cm, you have then 8+39+8 cm = 55 cm from cast-on edge to cast off edge in 1st size. Happy knitting!
